History is so important. Why families need to stay together edit even dogs who aren't working it's in the genes so all this great. Part of feeling strength on walk thats something I do, mine always into the bushes I give mine chicken bones only knuckles though good marrow in there. Does length and height play any role inside a pound or 2? Anytime a guy says test it u know he's a scientist coco oil makes my picky eater eat anything

You don’t cut feed. In fact I don’t even use kibble at all. Nothing but high protein diet, egg noodles for carbs, then is it a summer keep or a winter keep? Because the diet for each will change because of the temperature. The colder I use chicken thighs, the hotter I use salmon, whoever said to starve the dog? Idk, I want my hound to be strong, I don’t know it seems like starving an animal would make him or her weak.

It's an old tried and true method to have your dog below weight,about 2 lbs then you build them up to strength and their conditioned weight. I've seen it done by some of the best.

It's good as long as it has some fat in it but adding the kibble is good.

Beef has lots of good nutrients but higher calories. Chicken is easier digestible and less calories but I would suggest whichever protein you use the use the same fat source. If you want to add more fat then fush oil is good.

I tell guy to feed the dogs for ideal body weight. Walk the dog everyday and do little work outs. Once the dog is at ideal body weight with good muscle mass then and only then can you start to gage there condition weight.

No I wouldn't feed my dog before any workout but I did give them a liquid slurry before a workout and before they emptied out. I fed 24 hours out meaning once a day and 24 hours before a workout and before the show.

@benharding8424 Yes you can use a fish scale as long as it can hold the weight of your dog. Most people use digital scales now.
