As someone who is sort of in the same situation I can totally relate to you. Back in August/September I used to grind shorts, posting 2 shorts a day 6 times a week and eventually got 1k subs. I did enjoy it but it was super tiring to continue making them especially with a ton of assignments, so I tried to switch things up and try and make more long form content. For the amount of subs I have, the views on my long form is no where near close to my sub count. So now I've decided to focus on long form content and try and enjoy what I enjoy doing, whether it be ranked bedwars, or maybe even something completely different to my standard bedwars/fireball fight vids/shorts. I 100% agree with you, and support the future of your channel. I look forward to what's next! Best of Luck Dario, and thanks for being such an inspiration to the Minecraft Community ;)

Yea man ur right , i was a ytber too with 15k subs like 2-3 years ago , and honestly i was not enjoying making videos and i only made videos that the algorithm told me , and not what i wanted . After these years , as i think of now , i should have been real and honestly not give a fuck to algorithm and make things which i wanted . Heck yeah! Alot of youtubers today are always obsessed with "what pleases the algorithm" and not rather "What pleases them." Being a youtuber is a dream job to many because of how fun it seems, but alot of people limit their enjoyment because they have to ride trends that they may not even enjoy. And sure, people can enjoy those trends yes, but being obsessed with analytics can really ride you down when you're not seeing the success you're hoping for. In the gloring days of OG youtube, people simply had fun. There was no big trends to ride. And you can really feel the personality out of those videos. People like Markiplier, DanTDM, Jack, etc. didn't go by some video structure or having to edit it so its sequenced to fit the average attention span. Alot of their videos were simply raw footage of them being them. Them having fun. It grew their connection to the audience and made them well respected till today because of how much of their personality in their vids were shown. Sorry for writing this much lol. This decision was a tough one, TrainerDario no matter what happens your viewers will ALWAYS be with you and you may see a decline in views as you upload long form because youtube doesn't push out longform content as much as shorts content but if you feel that video is made to the best of your ability then slowly but surely you will gain your shorts views in your long form views. (sorry for the yapping)
