I honestly see you both living there in San Diego. No doubt that it's beautiful & the weather ideal, but as a Northern Cali native now turned Texan...yes Cali is quite expensive! You'll seriously have to bring back your Angelles loungewear line as well as create a Cherub line for kids & Con's fitness line to help cover California living. That's just the truth, but I know you can do it guys! ! On another note if Texas is where you choose to be you can always do another Air BNB for 1-2 months in San Diego during the summers when the kids are out of school. Elle, my friend lived in San Diego for many years. She moved to Texas a couple of years ago for family reasons and she hates it. She says she will be moving back to San Diego as soon as she is able to. She just prefers the SD vibe and way of life. She’s a real beach girl and prefers to be on the coast. It seems you’ve made the right move….you all look so happy. Loving these vlogs.

@@brandybird3954 I’m sure you do. I’m Irish so I’ve no idea what either state is like. I was simply recounting what my friend (who has lived in both states) said. Her experience is obviously different from yours. The part of Texas she lives in is not near any beach. The beach was on her doorstep in SD hence why she misses it so much. Personally, I would love to be able to visit both states and look forward to actually doing that in the near future. They both sound fab! 😊

Definitely try Florida! Beach lifestyle with prices closer to Texas! Southwest gulf coast is my fave but northeast is a bit cheaper!

I am Australian & when I was 8 my Family lived in Santa Barbara for 18 months. All three of myself & siblings became true Americans. Like there is videos of us talking & you’d be convinced we were American. I’m back to Australian now as been home many years. But it’s true some people’s accents just easily change. My Dads never changed. Which is wild because he spent his first 30 years in the UK & moved to Australia. He sounds like an Australian 😂 My point is everyone’s accents can be altered differently 😂❤

The last house you toured was SO you guys! I can see the pups running around in that backyard. I love that when you'd imitate Americans it would be in a country accent LOL. I don't have a country accent but you had me wheezing with that one. Also, my husband's family is from Cali and they live in an area that isn't incredibly expensive but everyone in the USA knows how pricey Cali is and how hard it is to live there because of house/rent prices. Texas and Cali are basically polar opposites - they are two incredibly different vibes. I have a feeling that you'll end up loving Cali more (because honestly same) but Texas may be the better fit financially. It just depends on how far you guys are willing to go to live in your dream home and dream location. I would prioritize your happiness first, of course!

Balboa park is a California historic site. It’s meant to feel old. Like English heritage sites. There are SO many beach cities to check out. Laguna, Dana Point, Carlsbad, Escondido, Manhattan Beach, etc… I hope you are having the best time!
