This video would have been more helpful if you added the prices of every thing you’re talking about( real estate agent fees, deposits in different areas, and rent cost, etc).

I'm planning on moving to Suwon next year and for the past year I've been looking at ZigBang apartments and worrying about the language barrier because I'm still a beginner in Korean and I don't know anybody there to help me in my apartment-hunting. I wanted to say a big THANK YOU because your video gave me so much hope that I can just go to a real estate agent there and get help/guidance in English. Thank you so much for such a detailed explanation of everything! I had been looking for something like this for a very long time, I'm so thankful you posted this. 😊

these tips are super helpful as I too am an organized person in a sense where I like to have things like my living arrangements already planned out. I'm coming to Korea next month for work and so my place will be attached to the job. I want to get a place of my own that is not attached to a job and so I will use these tips when I am looking for different places. Thank you so much again.

for a native Korean, your English is really good - like unnoticeable from a KR-American. Just curious, what percentage of Koreans speak English at this level (from your view)?

Hey Sienna! Thank you so much for your video! Can you please help me with the following? I need to find an apartment next April in Seoul, but I want to book it from my home country (so that I can go from the airport directly to the new apartment and not to a hotel or anything) Are there many scammers on 직방? Do I have to pay the deposit in advance or can I pay it when I am there? I am a bit scared about this Thank you!!!

The first step to successful investing is figuring out your goals and risk tolerance - either on your own or with the help of a Financial Advisor. If you can get the facts about savings and investing with a well detailed plan, you should be able to gain financial security over the years and enjoy the benefits of managing your income.

I think the pandemic have really taught people the importance of multiple streams of income, unfortunately having a job doesn't mean security.

I was here after your video "Why I left Korea" 😅. So I thought you really don't like it there because its "so awful" n stuff. I got a bit confused on how you're back there again, since the way you express it in the last vid (that I watched), you sound like you'll be so much more comfortable elsewhere. But anyway... 😊 EDIT: I didn't know you're Korean before.

Well, my background is a bit complicated but I'm Korean so it's always good to feel connected to my roots. I did a video expressing some dangers I encountered in Korea and some negatives, but I do love my country at the end of the day! Talking about some negative aspects doesn't mean I hate it here.

You can express qualms about living in a certain place and still live there and enjoy it at the same time. Acknowledging and making others aware of dangers they may not have been privy to especially as someone who may be well versed in understanding a specific culture does not mean you are suddenly not allowed to live there. It only makes sense to be aware of dangers known and unknown especially if you are moving to a new country where the norms are not the same as many other countries, and as a cautionary as it is a new country to you. By your logic, we should not be living in the countries we live in respective or not💀 Poor Sienna I would feel beyond frustrated seeing comments like this or something adjacent. People in the public eye really do have a tenacity I do not think I could ever acquire, while still being incredibly nice at that.☺

@@pearlcnrd You made it sound that what I'm doing is more "complicated" than it really is 😊. Trust me bro, I think you better not read too much into what's not even there. I was asking because not every person has the luck to be moving away from their home place however they dislike it due to economic and financial constraints for example, or other things to consider. While the original video owner seems to be free to do so. Thus, the natural response would be "hey, you had the means to remedy your situation if you REALLY dislike it. And you did. Great. We're happy for you, and we congratulate you. Especially since we're being made so aware how you gripe about how nasty it is where you came from". We're relieved now you're someplace else, that last video made us worry. You sounds harrassed and truly unhappy. By your wordings. Even if you wore skimpy things for that, still its overshadowed by the lists of unpleasantness that made us from countries where its nicer in "those areas" stop and ponder. Then, after that its moving back to that horrible place (not by our wordings. But yours). Of course we would be asking. If not out of concern or other feelings. Its only normal. Not "poor Sienna" or anything, I assure you. Its just a normal question and anybody will and can ask. If you don't want questions like these then simple. Turn off the commentaries sections. Cheers

@@pearlcnrd Also, nowadays just about anybody COULD make themselves in the public eye. Its that simple. Start any IG or KZbin channel, get the followers required (your pick, on how its done. You could be inspiring or pitiful, be informative OR outrageous. Talk about your a lot of your hardships, or teach others your trade instead. People follow just about anything nowadays, and you could easily label yourselves a "public figure". A tarot reader whose faces we couldn't see IS a public figure of some sorts. Nowadays, the term is so loosely used and easily granted to just about anyone who put themselves out there. BUT, its good to remember that NOBODY forces us to be one, so it shouldn't be seen as some "chore" like what other real public figures in olden days might rightfully be labeled about, thus "poor me". For instance, I'm a ballerina and I post pictures or short videos of my activities for example, and people are welcome to like or not. But its me promoting myself. For my own enjoyment. If I cry a lot all the time about how my feet bleeds and hurts or how at a certain age I have no career in this field, I will be aware if some people will ask if I really like doing what I do. Its a different context of "public figure" l am sure. So its always good to be mentally tougher. And for fans to not jump into conclusions about their "public figure" being "attacked".

@@siennahong Well to be fair, it can also be easier now since everyone of us keep getting older. Since from the other videos those sleazy men seems to target more to young women ("she has such a nice body for a 16 year old", ~the other video) and in places like bars and clubs amongst many. Perhaps in the right time a bit further down the road Korea won't be so bad for women once they hit 30s++ and are basically left alone/not harrassed. So yeah, then it will not be so painful to be there 😊.

Haha! As a Canadian, I understand when you said hydro. It’s actually short for hydroelectricity, which is your electric or power bill. In the US, it would be part of your utilities, that is power, water, phone/internet and trash.
