You’re absolutely my favorite fisherman. Old school, electrical tape on the thumb and burgers on the boat....I love it. Also really enjoyed the longer video. Many of the fishing shows/videos nowadays only show the highlights, and I really liked seeing all the additional stuff in this one. Sure do appreciate you putting these videos out for us, I’m sure there’s a ton of work involved in putting something like this together. Anyways, thanks again for the content, stay safe and God bless!

Steve, my son and I truly appreciate you. You freely give advice without any regard. We fish a lot on Cherokee Lake and Douglas Lake in East Tennessee. I was wandering if you have ever fished those lakes before? We are going to put your advice to work this spring when they bring the Lakes back up. But have you ever fished Douglas and Cherokee Lakes before??

Steve, your videos are awesome man. I have learned a lot from them. One question, I've noticed you never use your bait clickers, I mainly fish for flatheads and you know how they like to run with the bait a ways before commiting and taking it. I still miss some hear and there but you seem to do well without the clickers. Could you talk a little about this subject and do you ever use the clickers for I may have not seen all your videos yet. Keep em coming man I really appreciate them. If you ever come to NC maybe you can look me up and help me figure some of these finicky flatheads. Just leave me a post any time.

Hey! Get the MyWeather app for your safety. They updat real fast so you can track storms and be ready to run or... wait a quick one out. I work outdoors and there’s nothing like it. Tonight I’m out on my deck staring at my pond where my big white catfish rod used to be. I had it in a Field&Stream DELUXE rod holder screwed to the dock on a 2x4. When the big cat hit after 10 pm the rod holder separated due to poor design. I guess I had the drag set a little too hard. DAMN. Si much for Dicks and Field&Stream. I was using a rig that you showed me how to fix up here on YT. THANKS FOR THAT ANYWAY.

As always an awesome video! Keep the great footage coming as you have for years now. I have one question tho I’d love for you to answer Steve. How deep do you prefer to fish in a lake during the very early fall at night for flathead catfish? Water temp 76 degrees. Im just wondering if I’m fishing to shallow I’ve caught some big fish but it’s rare that I do. At night I have been fishing 20 feet and less and I really don’t get to many fish come across my Lowrance that shallow.
