Steve Douglas The Catfish Dude I have looked on fb for the longest and can't find your page. 2 years and I've yet to catch a flathead. I bass fish in a private huge lake and it has all catfish species. 5lb bass on the regular in my boat. I've tried day,night, cut and live. I do everything your videos describe, unfortunately I'm just not in the right area I guess. the lake is huge and it's just me all the time with 5 or 6 poles in all directions. can you have another win a chance please? I'll come to you if need be. I'm in Danville indiana. I just want a catfish! can you leave fb link to add or something please?

Anthony Hill, I've fished a few lakes near your area when visiting friends, I noticed that in many lakes/ponds in that area people were using a lot of unconventional baits (Hot Dogs, packaged sandwich meats, Etc..), the catfish in such areas becomes acclimated to such food, talk to neighbors, other people catching catfish and see what they're using. The one's I fished would only take Chicken livers.

mr. Steve I’m a huge fan of yours and the huge fish you catch and respect the fact you catch and release. I’m 51 years old and I must say it brings back memories of when I was a kid when I used to catch fish about that big and kept them not knowing any better but never the less I learned as I got older that it’s better to release them when they are that size and just keep the memories and pictures of fish that size. Although I still like to keep them if not over about five to eight pounds for a good fish fry even though my doctor says fried foods are not what I’m suppose to eat haha ... blood pressure plays a big roll in that but I can’t help it I love a good fish fry . Keep up the good work and keep sending the videos and god bless

Monster of a boat for monster rod holders who catch monster fish as well them corner t holders is some thing ill have to look at for my boat. Best video I have ever watched. I smiled the whole time... I love the fact that Darryl remembered which bait was on each rod...…. I take a lot of guys myself and that's always a good sign they're into it.... He's a good fisherman himself, and an absolute natural in front the camera. I'd bet a BCF Rod and the last Arrow Head I found, that Steve hooked him up with some Monster Rod Holders..

Been subscribed for a few years, and I have watched every video to date. I honestly haven't been fishing in 2 years, because I can't afford to go. A few years back I tried to go back to work, but it was too hard on my body, so I am now disabled, and can't work. That's what I would call a good day of Fish'n. I recently got back from 2 weeks north coast Florida, big wind and high tides the entire time made for some tough fishing, heavy weights limited me to mostly salt water catfish but fortunately most were big Gaff Topsails, caught a few big (and a bunch smaller) Hard Heads also but they pale in comparison with your day . Congrats to Darryl (Darrel) on the big Flathead. Steve, you might know where my cover picture is from if ever in Okalona.
