I purchased an 07 V and it came with Feal Coilovers. Just last year I noticed one of the springs was busted, so instead of sending them to get rebuilt which they do offer, I purchased the rear set only. It cost around $900 with expedited shipping. You can find the whole set for about $1500 + tax, just a point of refence for the future or someone else.

I have a 2nd gen Oldsmobile Aurora that needed a bunch of interior parts. I was seeing poor condition examples on ebay for high prices and even then half the parts I needed were nowhere to be found. Last month one showed up at the local pick n pull with the same interior colour and I rushed down and removed 10 interior pieces for $200, it was like Christmas ! Probably would have cost me closer to $1000-$1500 and watching for a year if I tried to get them all off ebay.

Had a Final 500... Miss the car, but I dont miss the completely unavailable parts. I feel your pain with this particular car. I dont know of another car that could cruse at 100+ MPH for hours on end while getting nearly 30MPG. So quiet, wonderful ride. Unobtainum parts.

@@_WyreTheWolfI'm finding the key is to have enough DIY skills and comfort to pounce when one hits the local salvage yard and get any parts you need and even get a few for the future. EBay is fine for the one or two parts you can't find but it's painful if you have a list.

Yep it is I had a 1977 Toyota Celica Gt I basically got rid for various reasons but parts were really difficult to get back in 2005 or so. I had a recurring problem of clutch master cylinder going out . Went thru 5 of them in 300 - 400 k miles I drove it It’s engine was basically a Japanese HEMI engine 20R. Clutch master cylinder problem was design flaw and they fix that with the dom 7/1977 onwards I had 6/1977 DOM

Sachs Nivomat Shock Absorber 444225 is the rear shock for that platform. They are very expensive, but are available from AutoZone all the way up to Rock Auto. Good luck!

This is why I love KZbin. Interestingly enough, I spent hours looking for these shocks via the part number listed on the shock, with zero luck. Thanks for the info! Seriously, it's appreciated. Cheers.

@@CarsNToys No worries at all, rockauto has a very good cross reference library. Just look up what you have and click on the more info button for cross referenced parts.

Part of the problem you're having is that you are working on limited production vehicles. I own an older Ram pickup and center link on the steering was worn out (2wd), I had to use a used one to replace mine.

Absolutely. However, I think other manufacturers do a better job using their parts in multiple products. I once had a S2000 and finding parts for that vehicle was way easier.

Its not tough... your just out of touch... gtfo... why would they continue to make parts that the aftermarket makes better... this is a boomer issue...
