I found our channel through Jordy's. I am new to this world of wood carving. Keeping to hand tools and dremel s right now. Being 66 and disabled , I doubt chain saws are part of my future. Loving this community and the most encouraging positive energy anywhere. If only the rest of the world could take example by this! Very Nice. Emailed to my son, trying to get him into carving. Still haven't worked up to chainsaw carving, saving for a jawhorse so I don't hurt myself. Trolls suck. I hope there aren't any carvers hating, I'd hope they're nicer people than that. Jordy has moved me toward power carving more, I bought a Foredom because he inspired me. I still go for my Knife and chisels. Doug Linker is the one who convinced me to actually stop thinking and start cutting. Now between folks like you and those guys, I'm going full time. If I have a minute and wood, look out. Carved a paintbrush handle with a pocketknife the other day waiting for someone in the car. Nice wood spirit. So many ideas.... Looks good!!! Tip for walking through the bush and not wanting to run into those Spider webs... Pick up a small twig 24" long and wave it in front of your face as you walk through the bush to clear out those cob webs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your channel is super cool! I actually saw you in Chetwynd a while back at the chainsaw competition and always wanted a piece from you! The little town of Mackenzie BC, where I live has a carving of my Uncle Cid sitting right at the entrance of the town. He won a fishing derby and the winner got carved. Hey Ryan. As always love your videos. I learn something new every time... I live on lake Winnipeg in Manitoba. Lots of drift wood along the shore... problem is that for carving I find the wood is saturated with sand... chain goes dull very quickly... it sucks because there’s a lot of nice chunks. So I rely on getting deadfall out of the bush. Unfortunately again, we have no redwoods or cedars and no white pine, which I hear is also awesome for carving. Anyhow, can’t wait for your next video, always inspiring... 🤙🏼 I watch Jordy all the time also...

Howdy Ryan. 👋🏽 I like your quick n fast Tree Spirit. I’ve been watching Jordy for 2+ years now, and it’s his fault I’m now addicted to carving. Lol I’ve got 3 years with a saw, and 2 with a Dremel 4300, and I’m completely addicted to the fun of carving. I agree we’re all in this for the same basic reasons, yet I can’t grasp how anybody could put a 👎🏽 on any of these videos. Well unless they’re are not even carvers.
