LOL Be careful what you wish for. We have a little horse ranch near Kalispell. Mother bear, a citified, has said more than once that she didn't realize how much work ranching was. Our life is not for everyone, even when it's just a hobby. Trinity, you are a real American cowboy. I tip my hat to you, sir.

Along with all the good things I remember from gathering cows, I also remember on long days of riding, legs so stiff and sore it was hard to walk til you moved around a bit after getting off. And I was still in my teens. And depending on time of year, cold, cold feet. It's work, but somehow still such a pleasure

You create the most awesome videos, such beautiful scenic views but your narration is what really makes them. You plainly explain the whys of your actions, sharing so much wisdom about the animals, their motivation and their nature, making your video educational, informative, and entertaining. I really look forward to each one you post. Take care of yourself.

Yes. The last couple of years, Cory ( the rancher who owns these cattle ), has put only 2 year olds up in the higher stuff. Thats a risk because they are a little wilder, but they seem to climb up into those higher spots better than the cows that are a little older.

On horseback, in the woods sometimes it seems like the cattle or sheep know just the route to make our own path five times as long. Then it's dark, though it seems like we just started to get the job done. Tomorrow we get up and do it again until all the animals are down from the high country. It gets done pretty much the same way here in Colorado and throughout the rockies. I enjoy your information and insight.
