Your films have made my little studio a safe place, when before it was just where deadlines had to be met and no joy. It was dirty and ugly and you couldn't walk across it for bags of unfinished projects. I now have shelves with pretty things, my art books, scented candles, the floor is swept. Thank you for the joy you bring to peoples lives.

Art and creating has literally saved my life. At times growing up my homelife was so dark but inside my artist soul pulled me to create..I created my own world..dolls and creatures. It was a world others could not understand and I was even told I would go mad if I continued to talk to and create stories..the were so wrong..it made me stronger and deeper as a person..it made me understand that we can create the gentler world we crave. You draw out in me a desire to cherish my work and my creative space..and give me permission to let my art seep out in all areas of my life. Merci !

It's a wonderful thing to be able to take simple, mundane materials and turn them into magnificent works of art. It costs almost nothing except our pure imagination, and our heart to bring beauty into the world. You have elevated the plain, obscure material of paper and have created beautiful characters that allow our imaginations to run free, that allow us to feel joy, that inspire us. I thank you so much for all the beauty you bring to us with each new video. I needed this one today. The world needs more people like you

Thank you for another beautiful film. There was some sadness there, I hope you are finding all the comfort you need? But I was so excited to see the ballerina shadow! Is that part of your secret project? I am so looking forward to it. I adore ballet! Live music, ballet and visiting beautiful theatres are what I have missed most in lockdown.
@Merveillesenpapier3 жыл бұрын
Yes I am, art is the best healer! Yes it is but but it's going to mainly appear in part 2 of the secret project :)maybe just a glimpse in part one. I know all what makes life , concert, music artists in the flesh , it makes such a big difference , it will be such a joy to go back to theater , opera houses when they reopen ....!Can't wait too!

Thank you for this beautiful video. I just subscribed. I have always wanted to start creating but I lack the confidence. Your words may just have inspired me to finally set out on a long awaited journey to create for the purpose of my joy in life. It’s always been inside of me but I never thought of creating for inner peace. I always focus on everyone and everything else. Thank you again. You are so talented

Indeed. I sketch a bit, paint a bit, but irregularly, but I didn't want to do canvas paintings and as soon as I stumbled upon this channel, I knew I had found my dream project. I want my office to feel magical and so I'm doing this just for myself. Now I too am excited and you've given me something to anticipate - taking one of your classes. Learning and seeing something come to fruition. Joi de vive

Thank you for such a beautiful video! I agree with all that was said. Our craft is a form of refuge and comfort to our souls. Every time I finish a project I keep looking at it over and over again, and it reminds me what the Bible says about God after his creation... "And God saw that it was good." (Gen 1:25). We must feel the same satisfaction. :)))

Such a beautiful video. I also love losing myself in the work. I almost get a weightless kind of feeling when I'm immersed in the process of whatever it is I'm doing - painting, cutting paper, pasting, printing, sewing, even plastering and hammering. It's calming, rejuvenating, and so satisfying.

Love this video Laetitia, speaking as a true artist. Who doesn't enjoy that pigment to water to paper? A precious healing indeed. Sounds of art, with the medium and paper too. I could watch and listen to you all day. In a pretend world, I would sit in your studio all day and create with you and loving all over kittie too. Thank you for such a lovely video. A lovely video, which I wish had been longer. I totally agree with everything you said how creating art can bring joy and comfort to many. It always has for me, it's probably where I've been my most happiest. Even when I used to write that would also take my mind of things and reading does the same. Being an only child I spent a lot of time drawing and painting. Even as an adult when I was single and living alone I was never bored, I always had something to do. When I discovered art and craft videos on KZbin it opened up a whole world I never knew existed and inspired me more to create. Nearly everyone has dreams which they don't always get the chance to follow, but you made it happen. Thank you for sharing, and looking forward to more videos. Take care.

As always you have touched my soul. Art for me is why I exist and I am not sure why God graced me with my talent but it definitely takes me to a very special place where no one else can enter and nothing can bother me. As for time, it does not exist while I am working. Thank you for me of these things. And also to appreciate.

Hello Laetitia! I love your wonderful dolls. I wanted to ask if you ever thought of producing a story book, illustrated with photos of your dolls in a handmade "Set?" I think that everyone would be Enchanted by your dolls! ♥️ Another question, have you ever thought of using coffee filters for collars or cuffs? Or, would they be, too commercial, have a manufactured look? Another wonderful video! I create and have never used those times to Relax! I'm always in a rush, and you showed me how to Enjoy the process of Creating as much as the end work. I will have more questions, but at another time! A bien tot! Votre ami a Kansas City, Tom 😃🍀♥️🌟🎀🎄♥️🎉🎉🎉♥️

Thank you Tom! Yes I actually did contact publishers many times many years ago for different book projects but my projects were always rejected , so after a while I stopped and was really discouraged ... For collars I really prefer doing thel in ly own way from scratch and sculpting paper to my taste :) Oh thank you! Yes creating should be relaxing, we sometimes forget it it's good to be reminded sometimes ! sure feel free to come back with your questions! Alors, à bientôt ! Belle semaine de Noël à vous, à Kansas City !
