@@earlkalleske8027 Thanks a lot appreciate it! Yeah it’s awesome fun finding a spot like this! Was an amazing afternoon out. This is a GPX 6000 with a coiltek 10x5 I believe mono elliptical coil, it would pick it up just as well with the standard coil as well, just those coils are a lot bigger and not as manuverable in those tiny spots.

Hey I was wondering what gold detector you guys would recommend from Dredge NZ ? I purchased one on Trade Me and it can't even detect a 0.1777 gram nugget!

Hey bro, I think I just responded on another video. A gold monster is a great item, you can get a second hand one for around $700 when they come up.

i recommend the channel Iffy Signals for helping you research and, after that an equiniox will get you on the gold AND the beach. You will have better descrimination with an equinox.

hey dudes; ex west coaster from way back; How do you go about a permit? Isn't everything already part of some one's claim or are creeks like this fair-game?

@@marcelnz It’s quite a complex process involving going through NZ Petroluem and minerals and costs a minimum of about 10K. This particular creek is part of a large claim (not owned by us) which covers a large area for small scale sampling and prospecting.
