I went through a lot of the same shit mentally and emotionally when my marriage ended. Every day for ten years I came home to my little girls giving me hugs and kisses. That first Monday after they left I came home to an empty house. Instead of my girls' smiles greeting me I had to turn on my kitchen light and see how empty the place was. It took a month for me to move out, and every night was spent drinking beer and Jameson, and sleeping on the living room floor because I codn't sleep in my bed. Sleeping in the living room staring at a noose hanging from the ceiling telling myself I could end all the pain by slipping my head through it. It's a dark place. It's a place no one should have to go. Thank God I made it through that, and thank God the Hulkster made it too. He is the earliest childhood hero I had. This inspires me and hopefully it will inspire others who find themselves in a similar situation.

The 'inner-kid' in me who grew up watching Hulk feels bad for him. But, alot of this documentary is a 'work.' I've heard Hogan say in many interviews, "you never stop working." Hogan and, the old-school workers never break 'kayfabe.' But, the difference with Hogan and the old-school guys is that he was able to evolve his 'work' into the reality era. Hogan always talks about things getting 'real' these days because, he knows that's the era we live in so, he evolved his 'working' to fit that era.

That is so true about changing our thinking.....we already know how much power WORDS actually are.....but our THOUGHTS are just as powerful and can have such a profound impact on our everyday lives. There are so many times where I've caught myself getting stuck in patterns of negative thinking only to come out of them in worse shape than I was before.....but once I decided to think more positively and approach everything with LOVE and FORGIVENESS, the more appreciative I became of just LIFE in general. I believe that EVERY ONE OF US on this planet are here to serve some kind of a purpose and that we should be working towards fulfilling our destiny.....whatever that may be. I'm SO HAPPY to know that the Hulk didn't choose the so called "Easy way out" and that Laila Ali called him when she did. I truly believe that was what I like to call a DEVINE APPOINTMENT. I truly believe that God put that on her heart that day to call him....and it ultimately saved his life. Praise Jesus!!!!
