Michael is a way more experienced criminal and shot than CJ. He and Trevor both surpass some of the career criminals in terms of skill (Tommy, Claude, Toni, Johnny) and are on par with the military trained ones (Niko and Vic). Niko just receives more credit because he’s better known but Vic might just be more skilled than him and could’ve surpassed every protagonist in the series, despite being one of the most skilled already.
