The cavanahs egg cowrie was gorgeous!!! Anything pink! 💗💗💗 Love the hinged bird carnitas. 🐦⬛🐦⬛🐦⬛ The texture on the variable stromb is very interesting. And my favorite today… drum roll please… 🥁🥁🥁 you guessed it, the carrier shell! I LOVE MICRO SHELLS! I LOVE MICRO SHELLS! 😂 Thank you for another fabulous video Maddie. Glad it didn’t rain ☔️☔️☔️ on you. 🥰

G'day Pam 👋🏻💖 Haha, that's right, you love the pink shells! I think I sent you a Cavanah's Egg Cowrie waaay back when we did that shell swap last year? I don't find too many other pink shells; most of the cowries here are browns and blues! I'm glad that you liked the Strombus too, but ahhh, somehow I knew you'd like the Carrier Shell the most 😂 Thank you so much for watching 🥰 PS I hope you're starting to feel a little better; you've been on my mind lately!

Hey there Maddie!! Those Pacific Jewel Boxes look like toilets 🚽 to me, lol 😆 The winner 🏆 today is the adorable Variable Stromb 😍 Reminds me of those Little Bear Conchs, that I also love! 😊 Second is the Grape Cowry. It’s always a great day when you find a Grape! 🍇 Third is the Kiener’s Cowry.. Nice find! 😮 Shoutout to the Prickly Spotted Drupe & Mulberry Welks!! Love anything lumpy and bumpy 😊 Thanks Maddie for a great outing!!! TTFN 👋🏼 ❤

G'day Mimi👋🏻💖 Oh my goodness, the really do look like toilets!! Like a bowl and lid, hahaha😂 Ohhh I'm glad that you liked that little Strombus; it really is such a lovely shell! The Grape Cowries were lovely this time too, and wow, I'm surprised that the juvenile Kiener's Cowrie got a mention! I personally really liked that one as well, but I thought it was upstaged by the other shells, so once again, I'm glad you liked it too! As always Mimi, thank you so, so much for watching 🥰

Hi dear sweet Maddie. Looks like your low tides arent so low. 😂 I do love all the mini's. Bird carditas, and the oysters. Found some adorable cowrie's. Im sure loving those creeper shells. I can't remember half of what i wanted to share with you. Sorry, its to early here. Couldn't seem to sleep last night. Again with the Wentletrap's. 😂 Either your really lucky or you are a real witch 😂😂😂. Thank you Maddie for a sweet video. I watched Florida beach walks after i watched your video and she found a perfect lion's paw. She couldn't contain her happiness. It jumped right out of the screen and smacked me right in the face. A good watch in case you are interested. You are my favorite beach walker and Thank you again Maddie for a fun day at the beach.

G'day Roberta 👋🏻❤🐚 The tide heights change depending on the moon cycles... I filmed this on Monday when the low tide was quite high, but this weekend, the low tide is almost a low as it goes!! It's always different every day, but when the low tide is high like this; it pushes the mini shells up onto the sand, so that's a lot of fun to see! Oh, I'm glad that you liked the creeper shell because I don't think that they get a lot of love in the shelling world? The wentletraps always get the love instead 😂 Oh yes, I do watch Roxanne's videos on Florida Beach Walks; I also really enjoyed her reaction to finding that amazing Lion's Paw Scallop - what a beautiful shell it is! She also seems like a lovely lady, so I'm really glad that you enjoyed her videos as well! Aww thank you Roberta, and thank you for watching 🥰 I hope you got some better rest last night ❤

Hi Maddie, another beautiful sundial shell! The paper bubbles particularly nice too. I always forget to say that the lace coral is very good and today’s collection really pretty. I didn’t know such things as decorating worms existed, how are they with wallpaper? They probably do origami with it😂 Yes! A beautiful carrier shell, and an abalone and a drupe too!!!❤ Very artistic display at the end. ❤❤❤xxxx Some very nice finds.

G'day Alison 👋🏻💖 I'm quite surprised byb how many sundial shells have been popping up lately; I feel like it was ages since I found one before this last week or two? The Paper Bubbles have been a constant companion for a while though! Haha, uhhh, I don't think those Decorating Worms can help you with your wallpaper, but they'd probably do a great job with decoupage!! How will they do origami without fingers, Alison??? 😂 Maybe a friendly octopus will make you a paper crane. Also, thank you for complimenting the shell display at the end; I though for a while that it was one of less-good ones... sometimes you just can predict how the display will turn out - it seems to have a life of it own. As always, thank you so much for watching 🥰

G'day Trudy 👋🏻💖 I was surprised when I looked back at this video and saw so many different shells - I thought that I didn't get too many, but their small sizes deceived me! I think you picked all of the unusual shells to mention; definitely the ones that are least noticed at the beaches here! I'm really glad that you liked them all, thanks for watching 🥰

I was surprised by the variety of shells this time too; it really didn't look like that much at first glance! As always, thank you so, so much for watching 🥰

Hi Maddie! 😀 Love the grape cowries, mini sand dollars, honey abalone, pallid carrier shell, and prickly-spotted drupe. My favourite shells today (and it was sooo hard to narrow it down even this much) are the cat cowrie, Cavanagh's egg cowrie, the variegated sundial, and that gorgeous variable Stromb. Phew! Hahaha
@ShellingAdventures9 ай бұрын
G'day Oceanluvn Gal 👋🏻🌊💖 The Grape Cowries were surprisingly fun to see together this time; they both had really different kinds of shines on their tops! The Mini Sand Dollars were very cool and just everywhere...I wonder what caused so many extra to wash up?? Must just be the right tide for it 🌊 Haha, there really was a lot of shells to like in this one, so I completely understand the need to have four favourite shells 😂 I think you really picked out the best from the bunch, and I liked that you picked out all different shell families too! Thank you so much for watching 🥰

Very good finds Maddie😊! Staphylaea, Epitonium🤗 By the way, maybe you will be able to find the rare Austrocypraea reevei, but they can only be in the Perth - Shark Bay area
@ShellingAdventures9 ай бұрын
G'day Mikhail 👋🏻🏖️💖 I needed to look up the Austrocypraea reevei in my shell book; it didn't seem familiar to me! Yes it is in there 😁 Oh wow, it's a nice and bulbous shaped shell! Hmm, if I dive in my car for 8 hours per day, then I will need to drive for 3 days to get to the southern most area where the Reevei can appear 😲😅 Their closest place to me is in South Australia (it seems like their habitat is Western Australia, and then around the coast to South Australia). If I drove to Perth, it would take me 6 days if I drive for 8 hours every day through the middle of the country! Australia is such a big country, and a lot of the best shells are all in Western Australia 🤣 I will get there some day!! I will look around for a Reevei at the next shell show; maybe I will see one there!! Thanks for watching Mikhail 🥰 just like you, I know how hard it is the find the time to do the thing we want to do 🤔😅 so I really appreciate you taking the time to watch and leave a comment 💖

Hii Maddie Lovely video!!! I must ask ,how do you remember all of the seashells’ names?🐚✨ I think that is very interesting and impressive!🌷🌷 I’m a new Shell collector and I’m hoping to learn more about them 🥹👍ྀིྀི
@ShellingAdventures6 ай бұрын
G'day Selena 👋🏻❤️ Wow, so you like the mini microshell videos too, thank you for watching it 🥰 and welcome to shell collecting!! It's a wonderful hobby to have; being in the sunshine and moving your body is awesome, but being able to keep the treasures you find it even better! For the names, it's just about learning them slowly and surely with repitition... typing them or copy/pasting the names into my KZbin videos is what helps me learn and remember them the fastest! And I make a lot of videos with a lot of shells to name! But still, if there is a shell that I don't know, then I will say that I don't know it 😉 and this is what I tell everyone too: you don't need to know the names of your seashells to enjoy them. Just enjoy them! Thanks again for watching the big (and small) adventures 😁

How long have you been sea shelling and what inspired you to start it
@ShellingAdventures9 ай бұрын
G'day Wilma 👋🏻🏖️ I have been shelling for a little over 18 months now... KZbin literally holds 98% of my total shelling adventures - I almost always film them! First, I just filmed them for me, but now I guess I film it for everyone else as well. (Edit: I forgot to mention that I also really enjoy making/editing these videos). As for what inspired it; I didn't know the beaches around me had such lovely shells until I saw a certain other KZbin channel that showed some amazing shells in my area. It really opened my mind up to the beauty and possibilities that are all around me. I recall that I also loved collecting shells as a child, but I only ever found moon snails and club whelks at the beach I swam at as a child. Seeing cowrie shells here for the first time was like seeing a some kind of mythical creature; I just fell in love with the shell. Thanks for watching 🥰
