Finding Morel Mushrooms in Kentucky 2020.

I'm thinking of venturing out to hunt for some of these jewels myself. I have some good areas that I'm sure no one has been through for a good while & I need to educate myself more on how to locate wild edibles like these. I can't understand why anyone downvoted this video. This is a great video!!!!!!!

last year was all about finding poplar trees next to white oak trees. that will change from year to year however. ash trees help alot.

We're from se-ky and they're popping up good, but we call them Dry Land Fish.

Mostly Black morels, we will find a few of the larger yellow ones later in spring.

The blacks are about gone the yellows are coming up here in eastern kentucky johnson county Floyd county has been a hot spot they've been finding the yellows for two weeks. Some of those guys found around 500 last weekend

@@jaycole4462 sure you can. You can grow them in the back of a pick up if everything is right. Fungus doesn’t care about location, only conditions.
