Glorified Z sos is pretty good for shiny hunting... I have about 100 hours on my ultra sun and have about 30 shinies but like 10 from ultra sun the others I transferred from my other games working on getting the shiny charm so I can start breeding and hunting with more confidence. I just got into shiny hunting this year and have never completed a Pokédex yet but I’m working on it lol. I’d recommend sos I didn’t have faith at all when I started just knowing the odds and everything changed when I found my first.

@@xDoubleDx Yeah I'm just now getting back into sos chaining and shiny hunting after putting down US for a few months cause of college getting time consuming. Diamond so far is the game I have the most hours and shinies in. My first two were Shinx and Buizel and to my surprise were both caught on the same day and then I just kept getting lucky with the encounters. I think I have like a little over +220 hours and like 11 or 12 shinies in Diamond. Since then though the shiny encounters have been miniscule compared to Diamond. White 2 I think I have 2 or 3. And AS I have like 5 I think. But I also never took shiny hunting seriously until just recently with Ultra Sun. So hopefully my luck will come back cause of it aha

The player name on this cardridge is 'Jay', he missed the cardridge because it was in a corner of that square envelope? Come on... it's too much coïncidence... It could be real but it's HIGHLY unlikely, everything points to it being fake. That's not hating, it's not being a fan boy/girl and actually think about it...

Ohhh my gosh. That dragon plate Arceus was the best event Arcues... To promote the movie Arceus and the jewel of life an Arceus was distributed briefly that had Roar of time, Spacial rend, and Shadow force. What a find!

So glad to see this video is up, been waiting on it! Those gen 5 copies were crazy, lots of cool Pokemon; my favorite was that random Dragon-type Arceus, I forgot how good he looks in gen 5. That shiny Froslass was insane! I suggest you keep that shiny Froslass, the fact you got it back is crazy! I've never had good luck in gen 7 games with shiny hunting, a lot of my luck finds its way into my copy of Alpha Sapphire. Watching this reminded me of Ultra Sun; haven't really touched a copy of gen 7 in a while. After my 2DS XL managed to break itself, I haven't really played Pokemon; I should really dig out my old 3DS and pick up Ultra Sun. Got nothing better to do, lol. Looking forward to part 3!! Gen 4 has a special place in my heart, the first Pokemon I saw that I really liked was Glaceon, and despite it taking me years to finally get my hands on a gen 4 game, it's still special to me as the first games that caught my interest.

You gotta check the smaller cartridges! I did this same thing when I worked at gamestop and found multiple shines that got left from trading between games! They dont show on the pokedex because they dont have the national in game yet. This more applies to sun and moon and ORAS because you can trade with only getting the dex.

I got a female pyroar via Wonder Trade, and used that to beat the game. Due to the EXP multiplier, it was a solid 10 levels higher than the rest of my team. So i farmed on the E4 and got it up to 100

Back when I was like 8 or 9. Diamond was brand new and I got real lucky and caught a shiny Shinx and a shiny Buizel on the same day. I remember playing it on my old laptop (sadly that means it was emulated) but I was right outside of the magma hideout in Lilycove city and I was about to surf into the entrance and I almost ran away because my game was on x100 speed and I almost didn't even notice - but a shiny Wingull popped up and I lost my mind haha. Will never forget that.

This reminds me of a story about my Pokemon history. I once had Fire Red, and it was the first game I beat the Champion in. I'd played Gold before that, but never won. I was taking my game to school, foolishly, and accidentally left my binder in the gym. I swear, I was only gone like 5 minutes, but when I got back, my game had been stolen. Cut forward five years later, and my sister wanted me to get her old copy of Emerald working so we could transfer some of her old pokemon. Once I got it working with the help of my dad, I decided to just take a look at the pokemon that were there. I happened upon a Mewtwo... from my old, stolen game. I didn't even know I'd traded it. Now that Mewtwo takes front and center in my legendary party forever more.
