If it makes you feel any better, as a little (and stupid) kid, I used to buy shampoo for curly hair because I thought it would make my hair curly. It didn't work, obviously. But we always want what we can't have :(

I love it!! I've been getting my straight blonde hair permed for years and absolutely love it! I remember having the same feeling of "this is me on the inside" when I looked at my perm for the first time.
