I love seeing everyone wear almost the same pack, shorts and shoes and use the same tent. It is the same with me and a good friend of mine. Because we hike the same trails, in the same conditions and think similarly we come to the same decisions on gear purchases.

Darwin this short film was nothing short of spectacular. I have only been watching your videos for a little less than two years (and all of your PCT thru-hike videos!) but this clearly demonstrates how you have evolved as a beautiful filmmaker, especially when it comes to storytelling, narration, pacing, cinematography, as well as the overall production with your editor and anyone else you have on your team. It's hard to believe a place like that still exists in America, especially when we are amongst our current political and world-wide health climate.

One of the best videos yet!!! not about the number of miles. Not just walking on a regularly maintained trail (which understandably isn't always appropriate) but REAL NATURE. Very VERY nice break from the countless gear reviews on KZbin (which are also very valuable too) 🤙🏽🤙🏽

Awesome to see that canyon again. Especially the hole-box-canyon you scampered up into. Did the same in 1974 while at NAU. Caught a 28” brown that won the Ruff’s Big Fish contest that week. Great memories, you did the resource justice!

Yes! This is just the thing you need to start focusing on more throughout the future... rather than just giving people more places to go, informing them on how they can keep exploring and enjoying public lands which absolutely must be preserved. This country will die a horrible death if our wilderness areas are neglected and destroyed, and content creators like you now have a responsibility to inform. Keep up the great work

This is a great video. The thru hikes are fun to watch for entertainment but these types of public land explorations are way cooler. Wonderful job on this one. This is the kind of trip I do primarily, because I have a house and a normal(ish) job where I sit at a desk. Most of my trips are two nights, and pretty relaxed just to get away from the desk and see the outside world. I sometimes feel bad about not being a mile crusher, but I don't have anything to prove. Thanks for taking us along on this very atmospheric trip :)
