I remember killing his first form fairly easily and was excited to go and grind it out, so I did a little speedrun all the way back to his spot. I appreciated the new mobs appearing and figured it was just for replayabilitys sake and kept on moving, I made it into his chamber, killed him once again. Thinking the second cutscene was just an Easter egg or some such I was still excited to grab the loot, that is until a dragon head popped out of his chest and my party was getting one tapped

You know I prepared myself for his second form. I bought like 20 demon periapts for this fight. After I beat his first form, I decided to transfer all the demon periapt I stored in my pawn to my inventory. To my unfortunate surprise, my pawn used all of it. Then, all my pawns were dead. Let just say that I spent 20 minutes shooting seeker bolts while dodging his spammed attacks because my skill attack did nothing to him. 10/10 Bitterblack Isle experience.

I remember this fight when I used to watch my dad play when I was younger, like 7 or so. He was stuck on this fight for hours, and Daimon's rage and his traumatized me the most and I can't wait to experience it myself when it's done installing.

I distinctly remember Daimon being the single hardest boss not just in the game but in many of the games I had played up to that point during my childhood and when I finally managed to scrape by that first phase only for his torso to reveal that chilling, howling face, I literally slumped in defeat and started crying.

I too was at the same state as Hank when I tried to fight Daimon's second form. Best I did was play as a warrior who kept bashing the pommel of her longsword against the head of Daimon. Then I found out about Magick Archer with ninefold bolt and magick rebalancer. The odds tipped in my favor greatly but that's only if I was using the best magick bow and the trophy set since Daimon's awakened form would still make sure my stamina was screwed whenever he tried to open the rift.

Well... I discovered that you can do an bug to glitch daimon and farm your lvl 3 armor and weapon, you might want to do it, just clip outside the gate on daimon's arena entrance and then rejoin and do the noclip glitch with barrels (you might need to return to the start of BBI to make it happen)

@@Yorikinotfound Yep, the barrel glitch does softlock the fight, so you need to restart the game by toggling difficulty/starting speedrun mode in order to continue through BBI.

It took loads of farming but I got my NineFold Bolt ring and melted this guy HP. Ninefold Bolt is insane when it comes to dealing damage.

My first ever playthrough of DDDA was an Assassin, I didn't even know that the class was actually OP as fuck. So my first Daimon kill was kind of underwhelming since I sort of melted him with Gale Harness + Thousand Kisses and Masterful Kill.

It’s not that he’s hard it’s more like he gains so much strength and magick resistance and not running a weapon that can reach 3k strength and magick plus using the periapts you are doing 0 dmg

My least favorite thing about daimon is its not even a hard boss it's mostly just one big ass dps check, fail the dps check you lose your pawns -_- reaper feels the same.

This is actually terrifying.. As I've not gotten this far in the game yet. Edit: Day 2: after my first assassin kill with four conquerors periapts and blast arrows with fivefold.. I thought it couldn't get anymore broken :) Day 5: Today i tried ranger with 4 conquerers periapt with blast arrows and 10 fold in the face the cheese is strong with meh Day 14: I no use periapt anymore, no arrow.. We just jump on his face like a ravenous and cornered field mouse and he fall down cause he no try no more Day 20: I wAlK in de DoOr anD hE FalL oN dE fLooR.

Do people actually have these long fights? Everfall and BBI went from being too long to super short when I got the better gear from them. By the time I fought Daimon first and second time he just got lobotomized by Conqueror's + Cursed Light. Wish they made the post game not total shit so I could enjoy the full 105 hours I put in. Deff enjoyed the first 65 I put into getting through Grigori. Shame they couldn't make post game challenging and just loaded it with artificial difficulty.

thats the deal with how DD damage work, there is hardly a middleground with that, you have 10++ minute fights with hits that do 1 pixel of dmg or you erase the enemies within seconds

@@lalouwu6371 Hope the second one has the middle ground, I don't mind grinding to become OP. I just don't want to be forced to spend 20+ mins chipping a chimera because they loaded it for no reason. Giving them additional moves and tighter block/dodge windows even sounds better than just loaded HP/Defenses.

@@deletekeys i think how everything around the dmg values and shit is product of the ambition that couldnt be made bcs how the game was rushed, i remember finding one cyclops in the early game and it took like 10 min(not counting deaths)and most fights went like that for me bcs i was using the sord\shield class for all the game+BBI and i didnt grind nor farm, i know that some ppl melted enemies(i did with mystic knight lol)but doing 1 dmg to an enemy of 80,000k hp fucking sucks lol, im sure they will have a soluttion or itsuno will make every boss dmc5 DMD urizen levels of HP🐣💀
