Lamborghini Live running does not make you lean or toned at all. Weight lifting does. Long distance running is actually shown to break down muscle mass. But caeisey is really lean, I think he's got a pretty ripped six pack. If you want to be lean and toned it's all weight lifting and diet.

Casey, I am 36 and I was literally diagnosed with arthritis in my knee yesterday. I am devastated and the doctor was very unsympathetic stating that Running was a terrible idea for me. I work for the Police and I do up to 15 miles a day foot patrol and have been doing this for the best part of a decade. I would say that my knees have probably suffered as a result but the doctor is adamant that running is a cause too. I tell you about this as you got me moving my casual runs into marathon status training, resulting in me running both London and NYC last year with my wife. I am signed up to run Chicago in October and I do not want to give up. I am watching this video back with a much different mindset now. Running is my life now, if I have had a crazy day at work I run it off. I am literally beside myself thinking I may no longer be able to do this. This video is great ... so pleased that you’ve been able to continue running. Scott 🇬🇧

@112musician7 жыл бұрын
I think most people in the comments here are young and don't get it, that life and age have a way of taking a toll on you. Robert Hartung I am sorry for your loss of mobility. I was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome a few years ago when I was 43, it's a connective tissue disorder. I used to be very active, walk marathons etc. now I use forearm crutches and it's only going to get worse. My joints dislocate daily. This video reminded me of how pissed I was when I realized I had to find a new normal. Every day my condition humbles the judgmental young person I used to be who thought they knew it all. Eric Kishel it's not a 'who has it worse' contest. It's about sharing our own brutal stories so that someone who is getting unthinkable news doesn't feel so alone, so they realize you can find a new normal. Let's come together and help each other. Name calling and vulgarity solve nothing.

Im really not a professional. But in the slow mo shots of you running i can see that you land on your heel, which literally destroys your joints and your "metal parts". It causes all the common running injuries. Look up "natural running". Its basicly the original human running technique and way more joint friendly. I do really hope you read that and i wish you all the best.

I ran my whole life but ruined my right knee. It got me depressed big-time when i discovered i wouldn't be able to run again. Then I discovered cycling! Cycling took the place of running. It's amazing!
@Ron_Boy7 жыл бұрын
Same thing happened to me. No more injuries with cycling, and I enjoy it more. It's just harder to do in winter.
@notthiminn7 жыл бұрын
Isn't cycling affecting knees as well? I know they don't carry as much weight while you're cycling, but it's still a constant movement. Just curious.
@Ron_Boy7 жыл бұрын
@Karolina Ordon - It's the impact on the knee that makes the difference. Stress is actually good for our bones since it makes them stronger. But impact can increase the stress 3x, and it's affecting the cartilage and ligaments in/around the knee (AND hips) not just the bone. The knee motion from cycling is very similar to that from walking, although there is a greater range of motion in cycling. FULL DISCLOSURE -- When I said "no injuries with cycling" I meant no knee or hip injuries. But I have had two broken bones -- a thumb and a toe -- both my fault from going too fast for conditions. That never happened while running. There's always something... :)
@notthiminn7 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! And be careful, broken toe.. man, when I hit my bed with my toe it hurts so bad haha Take care :)
@joeh5617 жыл бұрын
It can still effect your knees to some degree, but no where near as much as running. They are still moving of course but your knees aren't taking the force of banging against the pavement constantly when your cycling. Its the impact with the floor which causes much more of a strain on the joints than just moving them.

Ive skated my entire life since a little kid, its always been a part of me. I just this last year Tore my Left Acl to the point that the doctors said their option was to remove my ACL and take one from a donor body and install the new ACL and i thought i was going to be able to bounce back but dude i was so wrong! I can't even safely run anymore let alone do something as intense as skating. Skating has always been my outlet where i get to go crazy, scream, let out my pent up stress in a creative expressive way and focus my mind and body on something constructive. Im currently learning how to adapt with my post injury life and im still making it. Ill find a way even if things will never be what they once were.

This guy...you know this guy is onto something when you feel his passion, his anger, his frustration, how worried sick he is. You're tempted to fast forward to find out the ending to this story, but you don't. You stick with him throughout, like a friend in need, you don't skip to the end. You're pinned to your seat, biting your nails, anxious as much as him to know what the outcome will be. On a filmmaking level, this has been one of the best vlogs by Casey I've ever seen. But more importantly, on a more human level, if you're reading this comment, Casey, I sincerely wish you the best of outcomes, and no matter what stay strong and keep inspiring us, like you always did, and like you will always do, no matter what the outcome is. ☮️ peace ☮️

Well you shouldn’t be running 2 times a day at such long distances. And what do you expect to happen to you? You’re almost 40 I’d say? You’ve been running about 60 Miles a week for a decade. All runners know that the more they run the greater the chance that their knees and legs will just be destroyed when they’re older. You can’t expect to run like that for your whole life. Start taking a day off every week, or reducing your mileage, or running on trails where the impact on the legs/knee is less. I’ll bet you that by the time you’re 55 you will have a hard time walking if you keep running that much

Hey Casey i wanted to let you know I am a runner myself but I also use to work for a company called ConforMIS and I designed custom knee implants that match your original knee anatomy and if your cartilage is all worn down then ConforMIS is the way to go and it allows for you to get the same range of motion as your original knee and if you have to get a knee replacement i suggest you take the risk with getting ConforMIS i wish you the best luck form one runner to the next

Jbrang 16 why do you run? Just curious, if you were to do weightlifting or swimming wouldn't than be more beneficial?
@archanakumaran54717 жыл бұрын
Isaac Roberts I run because it’s like a me time. I can observe the scenery while absorbed in my thoughts, and it’s just refreshing. Sure for some rookies the pain could be too much, but I feel it as a sense of success and I know that it’s going to be beneficial in the long run... haha get it, ok then. Originally my doctor said that because I broke my foot a few years ago and kept working it too much, he said that I shouldn’t run too often but I feel fine as of now. It’s honestly just incredible if you appreciate it

I really hate to be that guy, but don't rag on the doctor who told you can't run again, its just medical advice based on their years of experience, expertise and education. Not everyone is an exception, you should be thanking them for doing such a great job with your hip replacement given everything you have done with it. Secondly I don't know what surfaces you have been running on this entire time but if you wish I can link many published papers which highlight the causation between running on hard concrete and arthritis - a pretty well known association now publicly. Thirdly my apologies, my sincerest hope is that you will be able to run again.
@ADK1177 жыл бұрын
Completely agree with your point about respecting the doctor's advice. However, there is no link between running and arthritis. In fact, running in some cases can have a protective effect against joint deterioration. It's a common myth. Engaging in movement is one of the best ways to prevent arthritis.
@Zanarkke7 жыл бұрын
Don't mislead people I was specifically talking about running on hard concrete.
@GrumpyCunt7 жыл бұрын
the dickhead should of listened in the first place but he went overboard..its his own fault in the first place
@ADK1177 жыл бұрын
I'm not misleading anyone...I'm trying to tell you that the claim you are making is false. Running, even on hard surfaces, does not increase a healthy person's chance of developing arthritis. Several studies have found that runners do not experience higher rates of arthritis than non-runners...
@userblahblahblah967 жыл бұрын
Aditya Krishnan that's interesting because I myself developed minor injuries due to running on hard concrete and they immediately stopped once I changed the surfaces I was running on. Glad I listened to all those articles you claim are false
