I can so relate. We always thought we would have one child. Currently, 23 weeks pregnant. I have a severe digestive illness that requires a surgical abdominal feeding tube to keep me alive. God had decided I'm having a beautiful baby boy after 9 years of no babies ( had my first at 24, now 34). Just when my body decided to develop severe infections, bleeding, severe pain, feeding tube wounds, gastritis, fatigue, insomnia, and nausea. My daughter just finished chemo therapy, and we're in the middle of a move!!!! The only thing that's keeping me going is feeling him kick and move inside me. When nothing else seems to make sense. He reminds me, it's not about me. I've been through worse. And even though this all feels insanely impossible,I have a loving husband, a beautiful family, a house, stability, and love. Health will be a battle, and it does feel like I have to carry that burden on my own. But that's the road I've been given. I'll try to walk it with grace, even though I might stumble. It's okay to be scared. It's okay to feel unsure and worried. Giving life is not a small endeavor or easy process to go through. It changes you, it tests you, and pushes you to the limits of your capabilities and beyond. I wish you so much inner strength and courage, my dear. This, too, shall pass. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. Much love.

CONGRATULATIONS 🎈 It takes a village! Don’t be afraid to let the people that love you help you out. Don’t feel guilty about needing a few more hands. If there are people in your life that are willing to help, let them! Nowadays Christians are not there for each other. It feels like no one wants you to succeed although it should be the other way around. But if you are lucky enough to have some people in your life that want to help out I am begging you just let them. They will feel good because they helped and you are getting the support you sometimes will need. Also make sure you surround yourselves with the kind of people that are happier for you than you are for yourselves. I’m 30 and have 6 kids, the oldest is almost 10, then 7,5,4,3,1 year old. Kids are a blessing. Definitely hard but worth it. This is exactly how I felt when I found out I was pregnant with the second baby. I know three is certainly different than two, but these emotions are exactly the same as me. And after having my second I just broke down and cried because somehow despite all of my doubts, God had given me all of the answers to my questions. Literally every single thing I had doubts about, He just figured it all out for me and my family. Again, I know two and three is a huge difference, but I hope the feeling you have once you get to the other side is as rewarding and God intended it to be for you. ❤

Thank you for sharing ALL sides. I was pregnant with my second and I was shocked fully to the point where I was feeling how u were in the one clip, crying, scared, just all around not sure how life will be etc. I ended up having a miscarriage and I thought well maybe me being upset and not happy like I was for the first one caused this. I found out that I was pregnant and it took me three months to even digest it and call my doctor cause I was in such disbelief. By the time I saw my doctor I was 20 weeks pregnant and have complications. We didn’t tell anyone and still have not told anyone aside from our parents and siblings. So I completely understand where you are coming from since this is our third baby too.

Thank you for being super honest!! I wish I would’ve seen this early last year 😅 Wouldve been encouraging to know I was not alone as I get just as you do. I have a 19 month old and a 3 month old. I found out I was pregnant with baby #2 when my son was only 7 months. We planned our first pregnancy and planned to have one more but the timing was definitely not in our plans. I had a really hard time accepting this at the beginning. Don’t get me wrong I was super grateful to be even able to get pregnant again after thinking I couldn’t at all. I totally understand what you mean by Gods plan and timing. Your feeling I truly valid I felt the same way and had the same thoughts you did. Overwhelming isn’t enough to describe the feeling. What I can say is God is perfect, he timing is perfect, his ways are perfect! I know it’s easier said now looking back but when you are passing through it at the moment can be difficult to see since fear of the unknown can be greater. God will provide, things will fall into place, you and Richie will get through this and it will be a major blessing nonetheless. You will see! You guys will definitely be in our prayers. And I can’t wait to see who is the lucky bundle of joy that will be the new addition. My baby girl (yes I got the boy and now the girl ) is now 3 months old and although it’s hard I wouldn’t have it another other way! Oh, my dear! I feel with you! I can understand exactly how you felt that day. My first baby was 11 months when I found out that I was pregnant again…totally unplanned. I was in shock. I cried so much because I was so scared. I had a rough pregnancy before and a very hard C-section… and thinking of doing it again, plus two under two…felt overwhelming. I remember I called my husband, he was on the way to his work, and I couldn’t even speaking. I was just crying on the phone for minutes. 😅😅😅 And now, my second baby has 8 months and he is our miracle. We could not see our life without him. I love him to the moon and back. It is something to consider and talk about with your doctor. As a young mom myself, i know how hard the struggle is especially if you weren’t expecting. This is SO relatable and I’m so glad you guys went through all the emotions. I just found out couple days ago we’re expecting.. (my fourth + my husbands third). We’re still processing it as this was not planned, same thing, took the precautions to prevent this.. but those failed obviously.. haha 🙈 I have a 10 year old from a previous relationship.. but together my husband and I have a 2 year old, and 1 year old.
