When Emongg was talking about seeing tank from the supports pov, it reminded me of what I’ve always said. To be a good tank, you have to have a good understanding of every role. Understand what your team needs to do well and you’ll win.

A skill you start to develop the more you play tank is the "ok I have to get out of here" sense. Which means you can't be always pushing forward because the enemy team is also playing the game and eventually they're gonna start shooting back at you. This is why you always have to have an escape cooldown ready, be conscious of your support's positioning, know the closest piece of cover and which enemy (or cooldown) you have to get rid of before they punish you. All at the same time.

I am definitely wondering what character they play on DPS because their JQ shotgun aim is pretty average.

I mean look at their positioning, their sensitivity etc. you can really only get away with those plays on a very mobile hero like tracer. So I imagine they’re a tracer main. Their tracking is bad however and their flick aim on the contrary, is not. So that makes me think they’d be a genji main… but I just don’t see many t500 genji’s.

Damn I wasn't gonna say anything cause comments have been toxic my way but you are actually pretty spot on and I am impressed. I am a Tracer main. I have mained her since 2016. It's also why I hit that Tracer out of recall around 4 minutes I knew where she'd be. I usually grind to GM then stop cause I'm never gonna be as good as the people in GM 1 and i'm fine with that. Mechanically my aim was never the strongest and Tracer relies more on being distracting and securing kills. besides you miss less when you can get right up in their face. For the record I do play soldier, sombra, and mei as backup DPS when situation calls for it. props again though figuring all that just from watching me on JQ I didn't even realize someone could see that. @@TgPepper

I really doubt this dude is GM. You don't need a second account to practise Tank. If he's GM on DPS and Support but not on Tank then he will get matched to whatever rank he is on Tank when queuing those games. Your rank in other roles don't effect each other. It would be different if he was like "I'm a Rein main and I'm GM but I want to practise Junker Queen" and then used a different account for that, but he isn't. He's a Plat player.

I'm in bronze, and when I play tank, I know I need to work on keeping track of where my team is and not getting tunnel vision. When I watch emongg or flats on tank, even I know where their team is because of how they play. The way this guy tunnel visions reminds me of my queen.

15:30 as a doom connoisseur empowered punch is OP. It is 100% true that you shouldn’t shoot doom block. It is never worth giving doom empowered punch.

If Doom engages with slam there’s no reason to not shoot block if you all focus him. Once his block ends he has no choice but to punch out anyway and if he gets greedy and all-ins with no CDs he should be in the respawn screen

As a doom player please listen to these guys. Shoot my block which is usually just me buying time for my abilities to come back. Doom block has 90% dm there is no point in shooting him. If he doesn’t get healed he’ll fall over and if he does he gets out with empowered. The amount of times I’m low hp and I get a 3 man punch and still live would shock you.

Shooting Doom block is 100% worse but also… This is a rare exception. Any cc even if it’s knife really, should be used against Doom block. Now with Knife and Rock depending on the state of how much dmg those abilities deal and how much mit it takes to get empowered punch, those two abilities can be free empowered punches. Very situational on when you wanna allow that for Doom. Another good thing to mention is that there’s no overflow or double charge, once Doom has empowered punch he has it, if he’s glowing suddenly shooting the block is viable.

The biggest issue I see is their aim. They keep missing knives and axe swinging nobody. To play junkerqueen at a high level, you need to be hitting those knives because they get so much value. It’s similar to a roadhog hook.

No it is pretty obvious they sold last push. Like not even playing 100% sold it was 100% on the tank. Look where the entire team is look where the cart is and where it needs to get to. After all that one can say with 100% accuracy that the tank sold this game 100%. (Team was at least 20m back tank was feeding vs 4, cart was still far no reason to to play on it like that they could’ve played farther back. 100% tank sold and should get avoided

Should they change things so the cart moves at 1 person speed if no one's touching it? It would make things a lot more TDM, but it seems like pretty bad game design to have things where optimal play requires one person to opt out of most of the game. It's got so bad I've even tried to specially not care about the payload for games but I just can't have fun playing knowing everything I'm doing is for nothing because the cart is just sitting there.

No, that would just switch what team is always down one. One defender would constantly be out of the fight just sitting on point making sure it doesn't move. Would also make it impossible to draw games with cheaters on those maps (if people still do that)

No way this guy is GM. I know i know, plat chat speaking o ver here, but common, he doesn't play around cover AT ALL. He just ran in like a headless chicken, no regrouping, pure TDM strats.
