A little boy! Yay!! So exciting for you! Remember to always keep a wash cloth on hand for nappy changes and put that sucker over the hose as soon as the nappy is off! Can’t count how many times I got prayed when my son was first born and I was sleep deprived and forgot lol!

@@wanishabirahmad9268 I’ve watched her since she only had 2 videos up on her channel. And as maddie herself says, I support teen parents, but support then TRYING to become parents. As for teenagers having sex, well I think that is down to the person and to some extent their parents as I know some 16 year olds (which is the legal age in my country) who are more mature and responsible than some people I know in their 40’s and there are others who would be more at home back in a preschool classroom. I personally can’t judge as I lost my virginity at 13 during a very difficult time in my life where I looked for comfort in the wrong place though quickly realised just that before I got knocked up thankfully as from 14-17 a good chunk of my time was spent deathly I’ll and in hospitals receiving treat just as likely to kill me as save me so wouldn’t have been able to be the parent my child would have needed and deserved. I think though rather than just telling teenagers that they should focus on other things and just not have sex is is much more irresponsible than actually teaching them a comprehensive sex Ed that includes not only the mechanics of it but also the responsibility to both yourself and your partner that is involved, exactly what enthusiast concept is and what is means and also what exactly consent is not. Every negative consequence of sex needs to be explained so they know exactly what STI’s are out there and what they do and cause as well as unwanted and/or unplanned pregnancies and all options for preventing both of those things. They also know what to do if they think they may have caught something or think they may be pregnant and what treatment/options are available. They should also be able to have a conversation/lesson where someone who either is/was a teen parent comes in and gives them a talk about the realities about that and answers questions. I know in the USA states that teach abstinence only sex Ed had MUCH higher rates of teenage pregnancy and teenagers who have had an STI compared to states with compulsive and comprehensive sex Ed. In Australia comprehensive sex Ed is compulsive from year 6 all the way through to year 12, we are taught a basic overview of everything in year 6 and have it refreshed every year with more in-depth information being taught about contraception and conception from about year 8 onwards, and we have a much lower rate of teen pregnancy and teenagers with STI’s than the US does, so the science speaks for itself there. Maddie is a great mum to Everly and will be to her baby boy too, at the end of the day that’s really all that counts. My great grandmother got pregnant when she was 19 and was about 4 weeks along when she got married, she told everyone that my auntie was born early, my auntie laughed telling my great grandmothers secret that grandma only told to her shortly before her death at 93 about how worried she was to tell her but my Auntie just laughed, hugged her and said that she’d figured it out decades ago and to be silly, it didn’t matter, she was loved and wanted and that was all that mattered. My dads mum got pregnant at 18 in 1958 and had a shotgun wedding, she was an amazing mother and grandmother, her being a teenager didn’t matter. My mum’s sister had my cousin a week before her 18th birthday and was a good mum to all her kids and her grandkids adore her, my best friend had her daughter when we were 17 and is a great mum with a very close relationship to her daughter and a great co-parenting relationship with ex. Good parents are good parents no matter their age just as bad parents are bad parents despite their age.
