Either this is the autobhan edition GLI ( heaviest) and passenger + driver mod is the issue, or he is having some sort of boost issues because it should not lose like that. You should get the jump for a little then he should reel in and beat you on E60. You should help the owner figure out what the issue was. Also if you can do a test drive on the GLI for your channel it would be a nice review

Exactly what i was thinking there is something terribly wrong with that GLI i think the owner is lying and he's bone stock or has a horrible tune because my APR IS20 would walk his Gli bus lengths

Why? E40...E60...gonna be able to make same amount of timing assuming all else equal. These aren't flex fuel tunes, both Cobb. Log of both cars will tell the story. Also, a lot don't realize shifting at redline on an IS38 will make you slower. Also, yeah, traction, weight. Passenger doesn't help.

My friend there is no doubt that GLI is either not working properly or he’s lying about his power. Just this week a stage 3 vs stage 3 GLI video came and they were head to head until the GLI beat it top end. Better aerodynamics for straight line. Idk what this guy was doing but when 90% of ur comments are saying something is wrong with that GLI I would take it into consideration. This is an MK7 channel where both cars are the same platform and loved. So when 90% of ur comments point something out, then listen to it. It’s not random hare. It’s actual facts. I can like u more than 5 videos with different results and same tune
