Its actually not too hard to implement meditation in a busy life. Just meditate when waiting for the doctor. Or for the microwave. We wait alot during the day. Instead of grabbing the phone, just meditate. Its beautiful!

💚 Thank you for this, RRP team. To add another drop into this ocean: I find it comforting to lean on the relaxed wisdom of my gram, "I'm just going to rest my eyes for a bit." This phrase has helped me just...rest...wakeful rest. Yeah the thoughts, yeah the whatevers, but casual space to close my eyes without the responsibilty of having to get a good night's sleep or having to respect the timer, though both great practices, helps me relax into peace. Plants. Namaste!

I began meditating a few weeks ago. Initially 5 minutes of four square breathing first thing in the morning. I just increased to10 mins This has helped enormously as I detox from opiate and benzo use ( prescribed to help with post cancer pain issues). I’m now increasing the intensity of my exercise with all the mind games the medications played.

@@RRRRRR-im2sv so far so good. Had another surgery in May. That knocked me back for a while. The meditation helped hugely with the withdrawals and now i’m now opiate and benzo-free. Indoor rowing and now running again (Montréal= bad winters).

What ever can be found can be lost again. Therefore it cannot be the True peace. The satisfaction we all seek on this world through actions and desires is inherent in our own Being. THAT which is the substratum of all phenomenal appearance. Ever timeless and indescribable.

A woman in her 40s (calling her Kim) who was officemates with my boss once asked me (simply because I was in that office talking to my boss): what do you do for stress? She added that she had a lot of stress. Meditation and exercise. Her immediate response was: I can't do those...no time. I added: opening the heart and mind helps you see these work, otherwise it's hard to see without experiencing it. She just smiled and said she had a husband and three boys, as explanation. Fast-forward 3 years: Same woman has a brain tumor, brain surgery, and back working within a month. I found this out from overhearing a person at work talking on the phone about her. After she got off that call, I stood up and looked at her, and asked her about it to see if I understood correctly and she said it's true. I simply held her gaze a few seconds, then sat down, and sent a wish for well-being and openness and relief from suffering to Kim. I felt gratitude for experiencing awareness, emptiness, love. My situation began with yoga, then zen meditation. It came to TM, then vipassana and metta. Along with walking, hiking, running.

This was great. Thanks so much. I've been meditating for years now with varying degrees of "success". I've tried all different techniques and have finally found something that I like. This podcast really helped me - there isn't a wrong way! It's not the same every day, etc etc. I'm going to re-listen to really absorb it all.

Very keen to listen in on this one. Recently I've found performing breathing exercises to help to lower the anxiety I often get when having to present in front of colleagues at work. Meditation is something I've also wanted to try, but I've always felt silly doing it.

I'm in favor of mindfulness and meditation and all that. However, in my town, Portland OR, you will find there is almost no in-person opportunities for learning about this. If this is such a huge benefit, why can't you find places to learn more in real space? All the education on mindfullness and meditation has gone on-line or it iss through aps or youtube videos. This is sad and contradicts, in my opinion, the whole spirit of the subject.

I don't think most people know about this guy and the way he thinks. He talks a pretty talk in a lot of ways but his plans for the human race involve less people and more technocratic control over the lower class people who are too poor to afford technology that makes them more intelligent. Man harari has said some WILD stuff and it's like no one hears the reality of what he is saying and who he advises to further that agenda.

Looks fantastic practicing meditation in mountains observing the ocean underneath. All this bla bla bla scientific information and perks sound great also. But how the hell I would meditate under constant missile attacks of russian terrorists and endless evil those brutal animals brought in our lives? People simply struggle to keep living and stay sane with all the terrible events they encounter each and every day. What are you talking about?
