I'm sorry to hear about your injury but you never know what the future holds and I really hope this isn't actually your last video. I'm very thankful to have met you and gone rockhounding with you a few different times.

I'll miss your video's. They were always very helpful and inspiring. We share a love for the same types of rocks and type of rockhounding. Anything better than finding a nice rock while walking along a beautiful mountain stream? I think not. Now, if only you'd share those beautiful locations... 🙂

I'm glad you had a nice group of hounders to go up the poppy stream with you. I'm sorry to hear about your injury, doggone it. I'll miss the beautiful scenery that you share with us, and the fun of discovering new sources. You've contributed a lot to the hobby and have been so generous showing others some of your special spots. I thank you very much for your willingness to share your experiences through KZbin videos. Take care, Kris.

Hard to believe that we won’t see your adventures; I appreciate the sheer time you’ve spent prospecting. I feel like you still have so much to share with your community. I hope you find relief Kris.

My boyfriend and I have been watching your videos of awhile now. You’ve always been our favorite rockhounding channel because of the sincere appreciation towards the nature around you. We were able to make it to last year’s field trip (my hands are the ones holding the agate in the thumbnail :)) I hope you are able to find relief from your injury in the future. In the meantime keep enjoying life my friend ❤ onto the next chapter!

It's been great hitting the streams with you these past few years. We now just need to rethink how we do this. As much as I will miss watching the reruns of great adventures, without filming you'll now be able to pick up rocks with both hands😅

Farewell to you. I enjoyed watching your videos. I got what is called a rhisotomy on my back. It’s where they cut the nerve in half that is bothering the area, and with a little time, it blocks the pain signal from going to the area. I don’t know if they could do this in your case, but I thought that I would put it out there. Hope it gets better for you.

I sure hope your foot is gonna get better over time. That makes me sad to hear that news. I know you live for those adventures just like myself. Take care of yourself and heal up and maybe you can get back out there someday. You just never know what the future brings. I sure have enjoyed your channel a ton. Just wanted to tell you that. 🫡

Like everyone, I have truly enjoyed sharing your adventures with you. I too wish you all the best, and will miss hearing and seeing you, and the lovely mountains and streams of the Pacific Northwest. I have wanted to hunt for big, cutable pieces of poppy jasper every since I first found some little ones on the beach near Ocean Shores. Can you share any tips, or pointers for a WA native who wants to find some for himself? I wish you a speedy recovery. The Great Physician can heal you. Thanks for all the memories!😢😢🎉🎉❤❤
@OldGuyAdventures Жыл бұрын
The Skokomish river and the Tahuya river would be your best places to find cutable poppies. You have to get away from the areas that most people will go too. So you have to hike a bit farther, but the rewards are better

Jared from Currently Rockhounding sent me to your channel. Hello, my name is Becky. I'm sorry to hear about your nerve pain, I can relate! I hope you're able to get some relief. I'm new to WA and I live in Kitsap County. I'm hoping to connect with other rockhounds and learn about WA rockhounding. We're planning on going to the Kitsap Mineral and Gem Festival that's on Nov 18 & 19th, maybe we'll see you there. 😊
