Don't you have to worry about crocs when you're rock hounding near all that water?

Yeah but sometimes the rocks are worth it.

Hahaha! No gosh no! If crocs were around I’d be in a different hobby. The crocs only come down about 3.5 hr drive away. They like the warmer waters. But one day they’ll be down here. For now, we’re safe from crocs. 🤞😉

Duuude those were some absolutely beautiful finds! Those carnelians are crazy cool! And dude the thundereggs! I can never get over how similar the chalcydony is over ther compared to the agates in Montana; literally opposite sides of the globe but man are they so comparable! But also not at the same time if that makes sense?🤣 man that second find had me drooling! Those thundereggs are fantastic! Epic video brother as always! Looking forward to hearing from you soon! You should have a surprise on your doorstep any day now😁😉
@TheHollyann073 жыл бұрын
You are one of my absolute favorite Rockhounds to watch! Chalcedony is also my favorite. I noticed in one of your earlier videos that you said the blue Chalcedony was your most anticipated find. Blue Chalcedony is what I find the most of EVERY time I go out hounding-I'm talking ridiculous amounts! I've been knicknamed the Chalcedony queen 😆. My Son and I simply call it "Beautiful Blue". I got back into Rockhounding last year when my then 2 year old Grandson was diagnosed with Stage 4 Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma Cancer. I used Rockhounding as a Physical Therapy for him when he lost the ability to use his hands or walk due to Chemotherapy and Radiation. So Rockhounding is near and dear to my heart ❤ I would absolutely LOVE to send you some raw Beautiful Blue as well as some smoky and other Chalcedony chunks from Utah, USA. Do you have a P.O. box or somewhere that I could send a package to you?

Hey mate, glad you found this spot, beautiful finds! If you have a kayak it’s much easier to access from the other end if you paddle up. It’s easiest to launch from under the BIG bridge back at the dam (that you would have driven over on your way) and paddle your way past the air field and up the creek. Beautiful scenery and easy access to the banks you were looking at, once you pass the slime; start looking! There’s chalcedony and thundereggs, and another smaller creek that branches off that I haven’t explored at all yet. Happy hunting!

Jesse! Gosh, you make my Fridays better by default. I love this creek that you go to. Still looks like you're experiencing your winter into spring high water. Those gravel bars are so deliciously clean - but you can see the grasses and such stuck a few inches higher than those bars in the trees nearest to them. The bit at 3:00 took my breath away with that jelly carnelian until the bit at 9:00 really stole my wind with all that glorious MOSS. I cannot WAIT to see that one in particular cut open. Also looking forward to whatever you've got going on with Theo. Feeling so blessed to have some of the most amazing rockhounders through which to live vicariously. My favorite mine here in the states is hosting a night dig tomorrow for their thundereggs. Most of their large ones (basketball sized and sometimes bigger) are hollow with tube agates. They're pretty, but delicate. I'm on the hunt for some smaller ones with solid cores as I've seen some gorgeous moss in those cut eggs. Wish me luck! When you're able to come to the US, I'd be HONORED to take you to my fave spots. Love your energy and smiling face. Until next time, friend!
