Finding RARE 90's Aero for my 300zx! + MR2 Project Begins!

After inspecting the oil and installing more Nismo parts on the project 300zx Z32, we finally start working on the project Toyota MR2.
At first I was looking for a Greddy front bumper for my 300zx z32, but an even rarer part popped up! A real Bomex bumper from Japan!

Good luck on finding all that bomex stuff. Really hard to come by nowadays. For wings you have the option of the supra mid wing, the stillen mid wing, and the wings west mid wing (unless you come across the super rare abflug version 4 wing or the rarer tommy kaira wing) Yeah sorry to hear about the third brake light, it really is very common. It's pretty much why most of the Z's in the community have ditched the 3rd brake light for a wing with/without the third brake light to cover it up.😅 Edit: I can't tell if you bought it from Z1 motorsports but if so I'd suggest getting it from Concept Z Performance instead. They tend to package things alot better

Order the 3rd brake light from your Local nissan dealership! you can inspect at the counter when you receive it and if it's broken they'll order you another one until it's not broken. It's the best way to do it. Everyone else online does not guarantee that it will not break during shipment.

Oof, my heart sank seeing the third brake light broken right out of the box. I hope there is some sort of parcel insurance to cover it. On the plus side, that Bomex bumper is a win. What about doing a quick and dirty diy paint job on the bumper and the hood? even with just some cans you can get a pretty good result! I recommend getting some 2K clear cans, they produce an almost 'show-quality' finish

@17:01 if you use a torch or a propane salamander heater to heat up that fiber glass bumper, it will flex insanly easily and once cools back off will "reform" to your new shape, ie. align with oem body line instead of being forced into place

i think the perfect wing for you'd be an abflug type 4 wing. not sure what you'd think of it but personally i love the look of whale tails such as dspeed or that one abflug one (i forgot what ver it is) i believe abflug still sells these new, but don't quote me on that
