I think you should show both endings. I personally think the Remulus ending is better than the Remus one but I think it’s worth seeing both.

There is more then 2, But ill be just covering 2. The reason being is id have to replay most of this chapter to show the others, and they dont add much to the story

Ashengites sound like fun people and definitely a better then some of the other potential alien societies we could have made friends with. A bit hippy and they seem equal to each other but at the same time it doesn't look like they would be too accepting of deviant thought... It's not a great match for us humans with all of our people being individuals and all that. Still a lot friendlier then most exterminator type societies that we could have encountered.

At the same time tho, the Ashengites did say they'd change together with us so we'd be more like them and they'd become more like us. We might be able to influence them over time to become more like humans. it's a hard choice between Remus and Romulus

Well they WERE human, but they are now 3rd generation of 'non human' so they have been here for quite some time.

I checked out the spoilers for the story. So interested to see what you do in the end and how. Yes the end story is 'cough' weak. Yet the time wobble allows for many more variations. I think that is the goal of the series. Activate the drive and begin infinite number of variations. Give it 6 month our time and the company should announce some sort of teaser for the next story. The model is definitely Frostpunk in space. Also i think weak ending is played to make the second branching story the better story. That seems to be the model for game developers.

Especially strange about the mercury... mercury is *heavy*. How would a person in a space suit even fall in? I'd wager they'd float on it with well over than 2/3 of their volume above the surface. At 23:45 it's not the planet that turned into a white dwarf, it's the local star, Ilia. Both endings are pretty bad, but I'd go with Romulus. You can use the backup copy of the PA from Protagoras for flying the ship if you go that way, so that's not a problem. The thing is if you go the Remus route, you're going to have to convert your people... and not all of them survive the process. It's pretty disturbing.

SPOILER: Getting rid of Edden lets you use the billionaire's P.A you made a copy of pilot the ship for you. I believe Romulus is the better ending but frankly both are massive disappointments.

It’s actually a reference to the founding of Rome. The twin brothers Romulus and Remus settled Rome in the place when a wolf rises them.
