Finding Sea fishing Marks using google earth pro

Great video as ever, I also find to compliment Google Earth, you often can find on youtube drone footage from the mark you are looking at showing a birds eye view. Take screen shots when the drone is over the spot you are intending to fish

Two keyboard shortcuts I find invaluable when using google earth are the U and the N keys. Pressing U takes you straight back into top down view and N orients North as straight up.

that time slider your using is just artificial daylight not an actual image from that time (notice you can actually set it to the future), as when your looking at Falmouth for example you said its 2017 but the image was from 2001, stated at the bottom of the screen, the features have likely changed since then. Never the less its a useful tool to get you started

Can you please tell me if google earth pro will work without problem on a MacBook Air? Fishing is the main purpose I want to get a MacBook but if the air will work over the MacBook Pro I would prefer that. Thank you

Any one run it on a MacBook Air ? It works on my MacBook Pro. I don’t think you will have any problems using it on a new MacBook Air but be good to check. Just editing this it looks like the newer version of google earth might not be supported on os 10.4 or below

Its great isnt it, just another thing to get in to ! Im based in Hastings now but fished the Llyn exclusively for 20 years. More reliant on others catch reports from that area now days ! Whats your nearest venue then Chris you live in a great part of the world
