High Maddie 👋 Beautiful moments once more 😍 yes, that Checkerboard bonnet is so attractive 🤩 you got also a beautiful Snakehead cowrie and 🤩 my interest is much more light up by the small Jewelled whelk, Engina curtisiana 🤩 maybe coz I will never have one in my collection 😂 and seems not frequent . It's a piece, we can be happy to have near the more commonest Buccinidae. Thank you Maddie for the beautiful "promenade", those rock pools always hide precious beauties 😍 bye Maddie 👋 ❤❤❤❤❤ waiting next adventure 😍

G'day Francesco 👋🏻🏖️❤️ I think I was lucky to find those bonnets in this adventure... I'm a bit spoiled, but I really think they saved the otherwise very short episode 😅 and the purple top snakehead stood out as well 💜 Oh, but maybe the favourite is the Jewelled Whelk?? I'll have to check, it could be endemic to parts of Australia? You'll probably roll your eyes at me, but I suddenly can't remember if I took this one home with me 😂 I leave a lot behind at the beaches sometimes!! my home would be overrun with shells if I wasn't selective 😉 Awww gosh Francesco, thank you so much for your kind words, and thanks for watching 🥰 and commenting with such wonderful insight despite how long it takes me to reply ❤️

Ahhh, perhaps I underestimate those Pipi shells; they are surprisingly well-liked in the comments here 😁 but yesss, I think the bonnets were a perfect find for the trip! Good day Maddie, I love the leafy oyster and the jewel box. You did get some very cute shells. Beautiful color inside that clam shell. Adorable baby bonnet. Each shell holds its own beauty for sure. Thanks again for all your hard work in order to share it with us. Babysitting two baby kittens. Weather is finally turning cool here. I complain when it's to hot and complain when it's to cold. 😂 You have a good day Maddie. Sending hugs from Idaho

Ohhhh you've had some kittens with you for a while 😍😺😺 I hope you and the kitties are doing ok, especially with any kind of wild weather (like Helene, my goodness). Hey Darren 👋🏻🏖️❤️ It's been slow going during the school holidays - they've finished now, but the weather is suddenly rough at the beaches here. Speaking of rough, I was at DB on Saturday just gone... so. freaking. much. seaweed!!! I guess I don't have to tell you that 🥲 insane, its pushed a lot of shells away from the wracklines, though luckily the eastern mangroves were not affected when I went. But I do remember; last time this happened was when the time those big Wentletraps washed up in the seaweed/algae 🤩 keep your eyes peeled! Thanks for watching 🥰

Hello Maddie. I really like the opercula found today, and I think the yellow is their natural colour based in photos I have seen of the live animal. My favourite shell find is the small Hebrew cone because the colour and pattern of it's markings remind me of a giraffe. 🦒🙂
@SandCoffeeRocksАй бұрын
G'day Oceanluvn Gal 👋🏻🌊💖 I think you could be right about those Operculums...while alive, the fresh Operculums can have a layer of brown periostracum on them, so maybe these ones still have a remnant of that?? Oh, but the favourite is the little Hebrew Cone 🐚🤩 Hehe, I always think of a giraffe spotted shell to be the Junonias from Florida. This is close but not quite 😂 Thank you so much for watching 🥰

G'day Nancy 👋🏻🐚 Hehehe, ahhh, I think I should also renew mine; so many shells to find all over the world 🌎 But my goodness Nancy, you were shelling up north of Cairnes??? That's an excellent place; truly one of the very best seashell areas in all of Queensland 😲 but yes, South East Queensland is great too, as well as Western Asutralia...they have the best shells over there if you dont mind all the driving and camping you'd need to yo do! Thank you so much for watching 🥰 there's plenty more shelling adventures on my channel if you ever need more motivation for that passport 😉

Hey Maddie! That was a beautiful beach and frankly that’s more of variety of shells than we have here on most of our beaches. Glad you had a good day!
@SandCoffeeRocksАй бұрын
G'day Mary 👋🏻💖 It's a lovely little beach; much of our coasts have "points" like this: which are headlands like this with rocky cliffs and rock pools jutting out from the land...not all of them have shells, but a lot of them do and get caught here. I don't know if this one has more variety than your beaches, but it sure sounds like a lovely compliment to the area. Thank you so much for watching 🥰

Hey Danielle 👋🏻🏖️ There was a crowd of young kids and parents there when I went, I think this was two weeks ago now? I wonder if there is more there now that the holidays are over? The tides, weather, and holidays are making it hard to find good filming days lately, so I was really pleased to have found anything at Arkwright on the day I went. But yes, the whole place was very well picked over, but I can only imagine that it was even moreso last week 😅 I hope you find something amazing on your next shelling trip 🐚 Thanks for watching 🥰

Hi Maddie, Jan from land-locked Austria here. You are apologizing about so few interesting finds, and I would be thrilled to have a shelling day like that. I'm curious whether I'll have any luck spotting cowries later this week when I make it to the Sunshine Coast (I tried to FB Messenger you earlier today about that). You are so good at seeing them! My favorites today were the baby bonnet and baby Spengler's trumpet...so cute, but, as always, all your finds are very interesting, including the colorful pipes. Thanks so much for filming!
