What a fantastic day!! A week of rain, and then this glorious day of sunshine!! Well... we've had at least a week of rain since this video, and a week more forecasted for this week and the Easter long weekend. Still, I can't be too upset; I found some amazing shells to brighten up my week! I LOVE my Pink-mouth Egg Shell so much!! I was also rather stunned at finding that large Giant Hairy Triton... it was so well camouflaged! Thanks for watching!
Let me know which ones were your favourites ;D and if you enjoyed this and want to see more shell finding videos, I'd appreciate a like or a comment. I read all of them and try to reply when I can. You have no idea how much of a smile you guys put on my face. Thanks everyone!

G'day everyone! Wow, you're actually reading the description? Um, thank you! You will be rewarded with extra content... my Facebook page (link above) is loaded with out-takes and deleted scenes that don't make it into the KZbin videos. Check out the extra funsies over there if you're desperate for more shelling content ;D

I didn't even realise that Point Cartwright and the surrounding beaches had such lovely seashells until I saw "Shellcade Shelling Down Under" - I admired him a lot, and you can check out his videos here:

G'day Sunny Belisle 👋🏻🐚 Oh goodness, I'm so glad that you liked the bonnets! I really enjoy picking them up, but right after a storm when they are more comment, I sometimes wonder if I'm showing too many of them 🤣 but the ones today were too nice to ignore 🤩 Oh, don't worry about the Blue-ringed Octopus 🐙 I don't think it was mad at me 😉 also, I wanted to talk about this creature in case the I formation helped the school holidays crowds, but this octopus was actually one from an earlier video of mine from 2022. Amazing how time flies!! Thanks for watching 🥰

I will have to clean up that Giant Hairy Triton...not sure if it will end up as a KZbin Short, but ill show it somehow when I'm done 😉 Uhhh, I have a bucket of shells that I still need to clean from the last 6 months 😅 I should do those too! G'day Kitten Luver 👋🏻🐈 Oh wow, so you're a bonnet fan through and through! I'm glad I got a couple of nice ones to show you lately; it had been a long time since I'd found some good ones...all of the recent storms have brought them ashore for right now. I know I've said this before, but I'm sorry to hear that getting to the beach is not something that you can do these days 😕 but I bet you've got some beautiful inland scenery to surround yourself with instead 🌲🌄 nature's beauty is all around us. Hey Pam👋🏻💖 Hehehe I know how much you love pink shells, so I knew you'd love that Pink Ovula! I absolutely adore it; I think it's actually should be more white-coloured because it was almost entirely white in my shell book and pictures on the internet. I wonder if it will dry to be a lighter white colour? Also, like you, I thought the Angaria shell was going to be my favourite this time until I found that Ovula and Giant Hairy Triton, too! I think this will be an adventure that I remember for a really long time. Oh yes, I did want to warn people about the octopus right before the Easter holidays here...most Australians generally know about this guy, but they might not know how small they are, or how they like to hide in shells, so I thought it was worth mentioning just in case it could save someone's life someday? Maybe I'm overthinking things. Anyhoo!! As always Pam, thank you so, so much for watching these shelling adventures 🥰🥰🥰

Hi Maddie!! 👋🏼 Great finds today. The Pink Ovula Shell is my favorite 😍 They really stand out against the other shells! Second is the Neglected Angaria, WOW 🤩 The shape, colors and bumps get me every time ☺️ Third goes to that big Hairy Triton.. That’s the biggest one I ever saw! A shoutout to all of the beautiful Bonnets! There’s so much detail on them. The curves and points and edges, I could go on. You know how I feel about the Bonnets and giving them some love 😍 Oh, and I was happy to see you find another toilet bowl 😂 I cracked up laughing when you said that!! Thanks for a great hunt & the fun it brings into our lives!! Take Care! TTFN 👋🏼 ❤

Hey Mimi👋🏻💖Yesss team Pink Ovula wins in the comments section!! It really is a beautiful shell that stands out from the rest - it's so rare for me to find all white shells, or shells with any kind of light pink on them. The Neglected Angaria is so lovely too, and pink coloured to boot! Oh wow, I never really thought of the bonnets as being super detailed like that... I always thought that the Scotch Bonnets in Florida might might be more detailed with the lovely textures on them. The Banded Bonnets do have nice little crown bumps along the shoulder(?) of the shell; which is super lovely. I'm glad the bonnets got the extra love today! Shhhhhh Mimi, you were exactly the person I was referring to with that toilet bowl comment 😂 Poor Pacific Jewel Box!! Once again, thank you so much for watching the big adventure 🥰 (I'm finally replying to my messages today)!

Hello Maddie, Finally it is 11 pm Tuesday night. I love the Pink mouth egg shell the best. A very long day. Cannit believe my Bob has left me. His kidneys went last. He was so sick. With Linny and Chris all day. Went to funeral home and saw Bob again. He looked amazing like he was sleeping. The urn we picked for him was given as a gift to us from the funeral home because of being military. You have been thru so much with us dear heart and your videos were such a welcome to me. You take care please. Much Love, TRUDY

G’day Erin 👋🏻💖 It was a really wonderful day; I’m so glad that I decided to go this time 🐚🤩 The Ovula is honestly amazing with its cute shape and colour. The white ones you’re thinking of are a different species: Ovula ovum. There is a small chance that one of those will wash up here too, but they’re usually more common to see on the reef in deeper water, so not really in the rock pools. Ah, Erin, I’m a bit miffed about the weather: this was the ONLY day of sunshine after a week of rain, and since then, we’ve had another week of constant rain. @@mikhail-tikhonov It is possible that it might dry white, that's try 🤔 Its been raining a lot here, and the air is moist; I recently got two Naria miliaris shells...one went into my shell cabinet, and the other is currently on my desk. The one in the cabinet hasn't changed, but the one of my desk has absorbed the moisture in the air, and became a darker colour 😲 my Pink-mouth Ovula is also on the desk, and it hasn't had a chance to dry out...It maybe looks more pink?? I'm not sure, but I will watch it over the next few weeks. PS I absolutely LOVED seeing your super rare Zoila with so much pink on it 🤯 how is that even possible??!! Also, I will catch up on your video this Easter weekend; is the Zoila marginata albanyensis in one of them? @@SandCoffeeRocks G'day Maddie😊 👋 Yes, it’s interesting, it means you have high humidity, maybe then it will really stay pink for a long time, in general this is an interesting experiment, we’ll check whether the color of the Ovula changes in a few months or not. The color of miliaris has changed, interestingly, my miliaris is in a box, it’s dry there and it remains as light as it was. And Zoila marginatas is not on my channel, Maddie🙂 I haven’t made any videos about them; I haven’t been making any videos lately. And for the marginatas, I’m waiting for a person who should tell me about how they live in their natural environment. Although I have already collected a little material about them and even a little about variability depending on their habitat. But I will show them to you Maddie as well as roseopunctata, so that they will not be on the channel, but you can watch😊👋 kzbin.infoFZo9H59xyXw?si=nO3nlHbwQjvTehaS There I'm actually filming a this video in my kitchen so the video isn't particularly pretty🤭😂. @@mikhail-tikhonov I will keep an eye on the Ovula and the miliaris for the next for months... I should keep my ovula out of my cabinet until the weather dries it out more. I hope you can make more of your informational videos when you can. Thank you so much for sharing the Zoila marginatas with me 😍 stunning, they are so beautiful!!
