I'm back in Crashlander to continue my survival adventure in this BRAND NEW mod that's officially out now! I am hyped to keep exploring, building, figuring out new mechanics, discovering new parts, and progressing throughout the storyline! @@1nicube If you look at Kosmo's pinned comment, it takes you to the steam community page for the mod. This mod kind of reminded me of some of the bigger minecraft mods (like twilight forest) which were bigger than the base game, at the time. Unfortunately, most of these mods don't live that long. Its usually people in their last year or two of college who have a lot of free time, and when they get jobs and marriages and kids, the mods get scrapped. You can't blame them. It takes thousands of hours to create and hundreds of hours with each base game update to just the mod work again. This one looks like it has 8 people listed as "creators", usually the more people there are, the more likely it is that someone critical will have to leave.

@@htomerif omg OG minecraft 🤣 That game was so empty. Mod made it perfect. Now its the opposite, too much stuff. Update scrap the mods.. its not on purpose. Dev need to keep their games up to date! Mods are free, they also cant live from that, thats also why they move on.

if its same as vanilla then raids trigger at crop value 9+ beets carrots and tomatos have value 1 potatos and cotton 1.5 blueberries,bananas,oranges 2 broccoli and pineapple value 3

now that u r in early stages, the best place to farm is inside the huge hollow tree trunks, i used that when i started survival. as the tree trunks are part of map they are indistructible

Funniest part was you freaking out over cardboard. The way i play, it is pretty much the first thing i craft, and alot of it. Having some lets me feed a couple glowbugs to then use their... products... along with fuel from random crates to make canisters for MUCH faster resource harvesting. Even a small canister can break up a couple of those "too big for your sledgehammer" rocks, yielding a good amount of metal and stone. Even though this process sounds complicated, it is much faster and safer than dealing with bots. It also allows for some fun rule sets like 'not allowed to hurt robots' or even 'you only live once (no healing of any kind)' where one bot can absolutely ruin a run. Or evidently a mod like this one where no haybots = no metal.

there's an achievement called "professional lumberjack" ( harvesting 1000 tree logs ) :3 wish i can see the slow decline into madness from you n kan when ur going to cut down a whole area to get that achievement =))))

Personally would love to see more survival game videos and if it's a game I covered myself I try to help people out with tips, tricks helpful hints for people who read my comments. Also would love to see scape mechanic have a lot of similar crafting systems to this mod

To protect your crops, make pillars of metal 3 in 1x1, 5 blocks tall with a spacing of 1 block, saves a lot material and keeps your crops safe.

This could be a late-game play, but why not plant trees around your farm to make a solid wall of trees? I doubt the wolves could break down whole trees.

I've noticed that the bots got replaced by the animals like the haybot is the wolf and the red farm bot is the bear and the green bot is the bull (I'm not sure on that last one)

Kosmo's been out of Scrap Mechanic Survival so long he's relearning some of the nuances......There's that frustrating hilarity to it all. Like it's funny to see you relearning it, but it's frustrating knowing that you're hamstringing yourself because you forgot how the game works. I really don't think the modders changed the raid mechanics, so planting oranges on your first go around was what set that off (as they're a tier 2 crop.) Other subsequent raids on this video was because the raid limit seems to be between 5 and 7 crops. That meaning it's RNG if you can get away with growing 5, 6, or 7 crops before it's a guaranteed raid. I want to say the common result is 5, any more tier 1 crops than 5 growing at once is a guaranteed raid most of the time. Raid timers should begin at 6 AM in game, I believe. It was either 4 or 6 AM, but that's when the game will do the crop number check. If you're raided, fend it off, then harvest down to 5 crops before that check, no raid. It'll then check every hour on the hour. All of that just to remind you of that mechanic in Scrap.....Mechanic.

Yes Kos the wocs do give milk. It's at the rate of 10 corn to 1 milk as it has always been.
