Luna is stunning when not hiding in the cramped Beech nest :) It is a joy to see them still being around. I hope Gylfie relinquishes the Beech after the fledging of the clutch and Luna can return to her favourite spot though.

Beautiful! Tawny owls are my favourite. I have them near my home - which is very close to a park. I often hear them calling and very recently I saw them fly from the trees right over my house back towards the park. I was so happy to witness it 😊 Owls are such stunning creatures and I find them quite magical 🖤

Well that was a real nice treat at the end of a day to see the beautiful owl and spectacular feathers wildlife has always been a joy to watch ,one of life amazing pleasures,I saw on KZbin a Doe give birth to triplets in a backyard somewhere in the country,,apparently there seen by the locals doing well ,❤️

I believe if I remember right there was a territorial dispute between the kestrel & the Tawney & he would dive bomb the trespasser. IT was a hole in the tree EVERY rapture wanted. Hence the name Bomber surprise attacks outta no where!!❤❤

I often hear tawny owls in and around the garden calling to one another, we attract a huge array of species of bird to the garden and I love watching them. Any advise how to locate and possibly get a glimpse of these magnificent birds. Many thanks

They are sometimes tricky to see, but they tend to have a favourite roost so look out for pellets on the floor. Good luck!

I also have a pair here near by , ther tree is in the local comunity forest a beech ,next /Naibor myn ground , problem is that stay in sand ground , directly a sand dune a gelogical phenomea out off the ice age , when one off the naibor trees fall wht at next strong strom will haoppen ther house go down to . Mosry & Kupek i call them , in puplic ( comunity ,State or Federal forest they have fuel protection thats ok noiby fall that tree , felling a bat nest/home tree as alike have a sirius penalty 10k € no way minder .
