Great strategy on getting through the sentinel room, I really enjoyed the video! But you can also put your back up against the wall drop a shield wall down and take out the banished and then use active camo to get to the other side without them killing you.

The active camo effect from your thrusters I mean

It's the bandana skull, it's true Killing any sentinels will stop the Spawn of the skull.
