Just a quick .02 on even cooking. Good pots and pans can make all the difference on even cooking. Of course we want even cooking from appliances we invest in but don't forget to invest in good cookware too. It doesn't have to be the most expensive. Not sure if we can mention a cooking channel but there are some great videos with cookware reviews.

@@YaleAppliance1 America's Test Kitchen is a great channel. I love their gear reviews aka Gear Heads done by Lisa and Hannah (Hannah is on mat leave so there are subs). In the Gear Heads reviews they review all pot and pan styles and point out the differences on why you might prefer a saucier to a frying pan or why you might be ok with a few basics. Overall their cookware recommendations are to avoid sets or bundles because you don't want everything and you're better off buying what you specifically need. General SS cookware All Clad does pretty well but they usually have a recommended, bargain buy and splurge buy. But it's definitely a great channel for fun kitchen buys. I don't watch many of the cooking demos or recipe videos but I love their gear reviews. I think ATK is in Boston so you probably know each other 😂

i love both, but i think we're going with thermador appliances due to a more modern look and their rebates. i LOVE the blue star color options, wish they werent so expensive tho :(

Thermador has a coating on their griddle, I don’t trust any nonstick coating being nontoxic. Blue Star in my opinion is better for a few reasons, their griddle is made from cast iron without any toxic nonstick coating, the burners are better designed and not having Wi-Fi gives you privacy protection. Wi-Fi optional is fine, because you’re given choice.

I am looking at a new 30 inch gas range and considering BlueStar, Thermador and Wolf. I want a simple range, no electronics - gas in, gas out. The electronics seem to be problematic and service is expensive and that may put Wolf to the head of the line.

Good choices......

Wolf is my preferred brand for ranges but the Thermador Pro Harmony would look sweet in my kitchen. Function is more important to me than what colour it is. Wi-Fi is a must. If you have a Wi-Fi range you need MEATER Plus, any cook worth their meat uses them. IMHO everyone who buys a new range whether it's Wolf, Thermador, BlueStar, Miele or whatever should get MEATER Plus, I got a Dual Bundle for $350, they're definitely worth it. You should do a video on MEATER thermometers, not everyone uses them but they should. Pizza ovens should also be standard in every kitchen, just my opinion.

Love the Meater

Both new Bluestar and Thermador got too much tech which will malfunction and cause VERY expensive repairs. The Bluestar is more bank for the buck but Thermador will have more local servicers and parts available longer.
