I didn’t understand what took mithrix so long to kill the hermit crab until he pushed it off the map. He was trying to get gesture of the drowned achievement. But got impatient, suddenly killed crab before it dropped off the stage so he raged to get fall dmg. Never doubt gods ways.

The matchups could be based on Cost, as (almost) every monster has a cost that is being used to spawn them in A degree of RNG is included, so having the fights be best of 3 makes the most sense

I've done this sort of thing myself a few times, always fun having enemy AI fight each other, biggest problem I always had was picking the right arena, Hermit Crabs for instance really like to jump to their death. Personally prefer to have everything fight everything in 1v1s simply because I think it detaints the results given how chaotic and weird the matchups can be and such and Mithrix is real powerful but has some really goofy jank hitboxes so tends to easily get bullied by some real weird things, if he doesn't jump he runs the risk of getting his ankles ripped apart by a Lemurian as an example :b

Haha yeah there is definitely a good amount of jank, I wish there were more custom maps in the game but I just used each level stage for each round, so round 1 was stage 1s and round 2 was stage 2s and so on, would be cool to have an arena specifically for it

Yeah I wanted the first one to be as truly random as it could be and each round took place on the corresponding stage number so round 6 was on the moon, I tried to use the mithrix arena but the worm bugged out. I 1000% want to do it again but I'll change seedings, maps, maybe add eclipse who knows
