Yeah they were too busy FIXING "problems". Like until after the Forces disaster, playing as or paying attention to anyone other than Sonic was but a lost dream because they listened to the wrong people complaining about that. Learning the wrong lessons from the wrong people. Such things also led to the constant mischaracterization of Shadow, Tails, and Amy among others, including Sonic and Dr. Eggman.........even though Amy was always riding that boat since Sonic Adventure. ...........It took them from 1999 to whenever Sonic Mania Plus and Sonic Origins came out that they finally stopped, reeled it back and finally figured out something more for Amy. I can only guess it's the same with Shadow.

The fact Studio Giggex made him block the blades with his power limiters, something you won't see unless you go frame by frame, and even during all the action, randomly in the background, you'll see Omega just fly by gunning down the Eggbots. Him talking more would be cool, but nah, that's not what he's about. Omega's here to scramble some Eggs, not convince the anti-social one to come to a birthday party. Edit: I wonder if Studio Trigger will be able to live up to these with their Sonic Anime that's in production.

That was so peak sega took inspiration from the manga again and the fight scenes were amazing the flashback was absolutely heartbreaking i really love Kirk’s shadow direction he absolutely improved segas letting him cook super🔥🔥🖤💎

Rouge has always been pretty strong. Sonic characters in general are naturally strong. Back in Sonic Adventure 2, Rouge was Knuckles' rival, so yeah to be able to crush some Egg Robos heads with her legs isn't that out there for her. She is indeed a Secret Agent, but she's freelance, no real loyalties as long as they pay her in jewels. Even in this episode you hear her claim to be gathering intel for GUN, but then in order to get a spacecraft for Shadow she just suggests raiding a GUN base.
