My grandmother used to tell me I could play outside until "it becomes too dark to tell a stick from a snake". But with you around, the sticks turn into snakes. You're almost as good as Moses was when he went to see the pharaoh. If I hadn't watched you make it, I'd swear you just put a copperhead in the freezer until he stiffened up. Amazing work, and it just keeps getting better!

An old Eskimo Artist told my father that the way to carve a walrus out of a tusk was to cut away everything that didn’t look like a walrus. It’s obvious that here is another artist that knows and uses that same philosophy with equally amazing results. Not many have the knack of being able to see the finished product in a dead tree standing beside a trail, waiting to be revealed.

Because your skill in mimicking and carving the structure of your subjects. Meaning the snakes ofcourse and birds and lizards are so real and life like. Could you please do another story cane. With 3 or 4 different critters on one walking stick . Something out of this world like only you can😊. Thanks
