You're so right about Bal D'afrique!! It is a special fragrance. I got a sample with a Mecca order, and I miss it now that I've used it up. Unfortunately, I'm cursed with fragrances having poor longevity on me, even strong fragrances. The performance is sometimes better when I spray on my clothes, but even that can only be detected at an intimate distance. It seems my skin chemistry just eats fragrance, even when I have tried all the perfume longevity tips and oversprayed! Because of that, I've decided I won't be making any perfume purchases for the time-being. But I may experiment a bit with oils in 2025 and see if I have any luck. I'm interested in the NUXE dry oil in particular, have you tried it?

Oh no that’s a shame :( I was going to suggest my perfume tips video but it seems you’ve tried every method. Seems like your body chemistry just doesn’t work- but just in case: Try spraying on unscented hand cream/ Vaseline around the wrists and neck. Spray on a piece of paper or fabric and put in your pocket. I think another reason could be that your nose is used to the scent so it’s still on you but because you’re used to it, it seems to have disappeared or lost its scent. Good luck with dry oils!
