Tremendously useful information. Thank you. While I cringe at the thought of doing multiple prints on expensive paper with expensive inks, what I HAVE learned is that I really DO need to do test prints at least to determine what papers best fit certain types of photos I shoot. 👍

J'ai regardé toutes vos vidéos mais je n'arrive apas a me décider. Je veux imprimer des photos d'animaux et portraits et pour des expositions. Je n'ai pas les moyens de prendre une canon pro 10 à cause du prix de l' encre. Je visais une Epson ecotank 8550, mais il y a t-il un gros travail d'entretien. Ou viser une imprimante avec des cartouche qui se rechargent. A votre avis?

Such a workflow can suit only those who have lots of paper and ink :) Maybe you could get the same results printing tedt shots on A6. As a side note, your A2 print looks imressive! However, it looks like the same job could be done on a A3+ paper, if one would frame prints with a mat.

Hi Orel, Yes use smaller sheets of paper like A6 save the paper. I only used A4 and A3 for the video. Tim

I recently downloaded Hahnemühle ICC profiles. The problem I have is although you can chose these profiles in Canon pro print and layout for some reason it still needs to know the paper? You would think that when you have the ICC profile has been chosen , the paper would automatically be chosen but no? What am I doing wrong? I can see no Hahnemühle papers in the list? (Printer : Canon Pro 4100)

No the profile only handles the colour information not the media information. Tim

Tim, do you have experience with Canon dye-ink printers? I have a Pro-100 but I keep wonder how its print quality compares to Pro-1000, Pro-1 or even Pro-9500 Mk II.

Hello, the print quality will be very good and comparable to the Pro1000. The problem with dye ink is the archival nature. But will give lovely vivid prints. Tim
