Since the closest cello store is a plane ticket away I've been scoping out the M5 for that richer more mellow sound.

Hello Justin, I just discovered this video and wanted to thank you for pointing out one of the key features of our bows - playing more naturally. It is also true for violin, viola and bass, all of which can be played favourably with less pronation and less tilting of the bow too, resulting in a sound that is both loud and clear. Have you got one as a backup bow? You might end up playing it most or all of the time, like so many pro players before did. :) By the way, the letter "M" stands for our warmest/darkest sounding cello bows, the "T" would be the golden middle, working great for a vast majority of instruments and the "S" for a more brilliant tone, excellent for playing big instruments with a very dark sound. The number "6" is the middle of the range quality, silver mounted and should be on par with best and most expensive pernambuco bows in terms of sound. It's costs about 2,500$.

Do you have a link to the maker of your cello? Can't seem to find any Marco Castaldo.
