Make sure you goto setting, sound and vibrations, and turn off all the system vibrations. Also, goto developers option and change the animation down to 0.5. It makes the watch so much smoother and fast

Bands can be changed to a fabric one which is more comfortable and wraps around ur wrist a bit more.

If you have a big wrist, get the 47mm. If you have a smaller wrist, get the smaller one. Then it wont have the gap. OR get the fabric band, which is pretty awesome. I have an 8 inch wrist so the 47mm fits me perfectly.

I LOVE this watch. I was using the Pixel Watch to track my sleep but it's weird. The Samsung is Eerily accurate with my sleep times. Plus it looks AMAZING. I have an Apple watch as well but I never use it for sleep tracking. For some reason it's sleep tracking just never appealed to me

If you have bluetooth model it's good but all the LTE models suffer from overheating on LTE and cut off phone calls after 2 minutes, I tried 3 Samsung LTE watches,all same problem, Apple does not have this and the Pixel is also no over heat issues.

Congrats on making the switch and actually liking it. If I have the option I would have both. But it is best to choose either one. I have experienced making the switch over and over again. I have the 5. It combines so well with my Samsung Health. It basically tells me everything , steps, heartbeat, etc. I would like Samsung to design a square one like Apple. The 6 that was shown here seems kind of thicker than mine. I am going to hang on to mine for now and see what happens.

I have just got the 43mm version this Week, and so far i really love it. It looks a lot better in real life then on commercial pictures. I wanted a metal housing watch, so i "settled" to get it with the standard Silver strap, i thought i will change it very soon to a diffrent strap, but so far i am loving it more and more. So only time will tell when it will be replaced. PS. I have a skinny arm/wrist so i am more than happy that i chose the small 43mm version😊

Great content. As for the chrome on the case, put a case cover on it. They make case covers that also come with a rotating bezel cover. As for the strap, pick up a nylon strap like for the watch. 8 ultra.

Nice review, I currently own a Samsung watch 5 Pro and do not want to switch due to battery live this gives me. I have one remark though, as both the Apple Watch Ultra and the Samsung both have sapphire glass a screen protector is not needed. It will be very difficult to scratch the surface.

Correct, but as much as I can recall. I believe to have learned sapphire can shatter fairly easily. That may be less likely to happen though. An unseen scratch seems to be what usually leads to a crack.

I wore a Tag Heuer for a decade, it had a Saphire crystal and almost no bezel protection, never had a scratch and certainly no shatter. I am very hard on watches btw. 😜 The protector will save that anti fingerprint coating from coming off. Maybe the newer saphire doesn't have that layer? 🤔

Hey Anton. Good questions. I haven't had any experience with any Huawei watches. I looked up that watch and particular and noticed that it doesn't have access to the Google Play Store. For that reason it wouldn't be an option for me., but yeah it might be a good choice for you. I charge my watch every other day. It's a good thing too because if I didn't take it off for that little bit of time while it charged I might have some sort of rash on my wrist I've noticed after wearing the watch two days straight that it does get a little grimy underneath. Right where the glass on the watch sensor meets your wrist. For me that's how any Smartwatch works. It's supposed to press up against your wrist to get an accurate sensor reading. I have been doin samsung watches for a while. I have had 2 gear s2s watch 2 5 and now 6 classic I have beat the hell out of all of them I am a mechanic. I damaged my gear s2 way back but I slapped it hard against a frame on a car. It still worked for another 1.5 years Til I upgraded .

My battey life lasts all day. From 7am to 10 pm when paired witj my zfold, the watch is usually at 71-78% And when its on Data only, its usually at 35-50% battery left from 7am to 10pm

It seems to work really well for me. The sensor is right underneath the middle part of the watch. So having the straps hang off the sides… as long as it’s pushing up against your wrist, it’s totally fine.

I got the black 47mm classic, I'm surprised how good the call quality is, I've ordered a mesh magnetic band though, as I don't like buckles, I couldn't care less if its not made from titanium, it's a watch,, not going to be under much pressure on your wrist.

I love the iPhone and iOS, but I hate the apple watch because of no third party faces and poor battery life. This is why I will stick with my GW6, that is until apple fixes those two issues. The only thing I hate about WearOS is the ugly UI. The launcher should be customizable, maybe a background image with a little blur and better-looking icons. Google UI design department sucks, maybe they should take a leaf out of Microsoft's book to see how to win masses over with eye-candy.

Your thoughts and preferences are valid for sure. I myself have been using the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic also. I'm loving it, but it's not perfect. The icons seem a little cartoonish, but they are super usable, and the Watch Ui is simple for me to use. The battery life is more than adequate and comparable to my Apple Watch Ultra. The many watch face choices make the W6C fun to use. All around good watch. I'm just happy and greatful to have options. Thanks for taking the time to chat it up.

The watch has a 1.5 day battery which is pretty bad in my opinion because i do nothing with it. And the second issue this watch is having is that the ram memory usage is already at 1,3 GB when installing this watch. This makes the watch feel laggy. Huawei 4 pro is a better watch.

From my opinion i don't like the Samsung galaxy watch 6 band because its to spaces if you was to put the GW 5 band on you will see the difference far as BAND WISE . Now i wish its had a blood pressure monitor on it not the heart rate on it and the 2nd thing on the GW 6 classic 47mm is the step count why you can't start the step count over again from the beginning . I mean i like both of my GW 5 44MM and 6 47mm classic the battery will last me about 2 days on a fully charged . Then they talking about you can leave your phone home and just take the watch ⌚ with you only that's a lie i life my phone inside the basement inside a park 🏞 lot and went to the 6th floor you will here a being noise on the watch that will tells you its not connected to your phone i mean all the accessories on that watch ⌚ will work but you will not received no calls or even make a call 🗣⌚️ Samsung needs to test all of there's products before putting out on the market tested it on a train 🚉 full of ppls or at a airport 🛫 inside a subway tunnel do a drope tested or a bang test on there watches because you are going to either bang into something and yes buy a screen protector for that watch ⌚ and something to cover the bezel as well 4real if you want something to last a long TIME i had the Samsung gear s 3 watch i had no problems with that watch at all until its stopped working everything about that watch was PERFECT 💯%🏆 I didn't needed to put nothing on that watch ⌚ 💯%💯%💯%🏆

I can't make up my mind on the size - 47 or 43mm. What are you thoughts on that? My wrist is not big but except for the gaps I think the 47 is fine. However everywhere on the internet that I looked for my wrists size the 47 is too big for a watch. This will be my first smartwatch so I'm not used with such tech and that makes wonder even more. I tested both sizes in the store and still can't make my mind.

When I first started watching the review on the watch, some people said that the watch band would pop off on one side. Thao, a KZbin reviewer, said she had the same problem, but I believe she said her skin was too close to the release button.

Old tech inside a new (oldish) design. The only good ACCURATE thing about this watch is its design. Other than that, HR and Sleep track is as bad as the old ones since nothing has changed. Other than that, it looks amazing, but you can't trust it.

One would have to compare two devices made to track heart rate and sleep. I don't believe this watch or any other Smartwatch is really meant to provide the same accuracy as a dedicated Health tracking device. There is another variable that is required to get the tracking correct on this watch or any other watch. The fit must be correct, and tattoos or blemishes of some sort could cause a missed, incorrect, or inaccurate read.

Wow you guys are all so naive, I had 3 new galaxy watches and the bigger battery and bigger speaker is a major overheating issue on every model since the first. Forget about the LTE models as they will overheat and shut off your phone calls after 2 minutes. Now with Apple Watch 9 LTE a true smart watch phone no hardware issues!

@SomethingMobile well I loved the look and features of the Samsung watches but Samsung technicians could not fix the LTE overheating issues and admitted it is a design flaw with all LTE models. I Wanted only a true stand alone phone on my wrist which Apple has perfected, no more lost calls on overheating and I can really leave the phone off at home and just use the apple watch for everything outside.

I just don’t feel like I get as much functionality out of it. Like all of my notifications come through my Apple Watch and I feel like the Galaxy is left out 😅

I would say getting a watch like this won't magically get you to work out, eat right, and live a healthy lifestyle if you weren't before getting the watch. If you are already living healthy it's a good companion to have. I love my galaxy watch 6 classic.

The chrome part looks cheap because it's actually plastic in that part of the watch, same as on the regular watch 6, 5 and 4. I wish it was the brushed stainless all around. I'm thinking about exchanging the silver for the black because the chromed plastic looks so bad lol

Are you sure about that part being plastic?! Because the watch is MIL-STD rated which is a military toughness standard that I assume is tougher than normal IP68 ratings. So I would think that if it is actually plastic than it would be of the super tough variant like the Casio g-shock

The 6 classic has a physical rotating bezel and the 6 is more haptic style with no physical movement.

You might be correct. I think hopefully a new band would be better for me. I'm going to try the 44 mm watch 6. We'll see if that works out better

I have both and I just feel the Ultra is waaaaay more accurate and works flawlessy with the iphone. My work emails, teams, notifications in general are better with the ultra. The watch 6 classic absolutely does not count stairs accurately in my house. I can go up and down 20 times and itll count twice. The ultra is always accurate. Theres a bunch of other things the Samsung cant or doesnt do compared to the ultra.

Hello. How many days would be the battery life If I will wear this watch during all day, but only use the sleep mode? I mean I would turn OFF the wifi, ECG, always on display, bluetooth. I dont want to calculate with gym and training, because it is totally different. So anyone has experience in this kind of battery life?

On the 47mm I get 2 days if I don't do workout tracking, and that's with all the stuff on. If you went as barebones as you're planning, you're probably looking at 3 days or more.

You compared it with the Galaxy Watch Pro 5, which is more targeted toward the Apple Watch Ultra 2. In my opinion, you made a mistake by comparing the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic with the Ultra 2 or any Ultra from Apple's lineup. The Pro 5 has the build quality and battery life to match up with the Apple Ultra 2. You thought that since Samsung did not come up with a Pro 6, comparing the 6 Classic would be suitable. However, in my opinion, the price-to-performance ratio is not completely there compared to an Ultra 2.

I have the 5 pro, and I charged that watch every night anyways. I have the 6 Classic LTE, set the same power settings as my 5 pro - my battery lasts all day. Also, if you have a Galaxy S22 Ultra or S23 Ultra, you walk around with an emergency battery for your watch via power sharing. I love the fact that I play music from my watch without my phone and I use the dial to control my volume. I’m liking the 6 Classic experience so far.
