thank you very much Peter. Glad you enjoyed the video. You know I love Margaux too right? Despite all the wines I've tried from all around the world, I thin it remains the dearer wine region to my heart. The wines here are so...

I like Giscours! I guess, d'Issan, Kirwan and du Tertre are also worth to drink!

I'm new to old world wine. Ive only ever collected or tried U.S. and Argentinian wine - new world. Would you recommend the 2016 Giscour Margaux to someone like myself?

How would you rate 2010 vintage? vs 2015?

For people who collect wine? Is that a good score? And maybe in ten to fifteen years it’ll even be better?

Hi Erik, absolutely, these wines are acknowledged as being excellent, among the best from the Bordeaux area and therefore even excellent wines on the international wine scene too. I mean of course you'll find even greater wines but ones that are more expensive too. For the high end Bordeaux wines, those stay relatively reasonable in price. As for the ageing. Sure, those do age very well and get better with a few years in the bottle. And you said exactly right. They get really great after 10-15 years when they still have some freshness of fruit but have opened up and started to develop some more depth and complexity of the bouquet. I talk about it a fair bit in this video about wines from a neighboring area to Margaux, also in the Médoc left bank of Bordeaux-> kzbin.info/www/bejne/e6bYmGaXnLKkiJI Hope this makes sense and helps?
