Fine Silver Granulated Domes I'll demonstrate the final steps in gluing and drying the granulated pattern set up on the fine silver domes and how to fuse granulation in place without overdoing it. In the previous installments we covered how to arrange and set up fine silver granules for granulation on a fine silver dome. We also discussed the proper amount of G Glue-The Granulation Solution to use once the granules are laid out. We also covered simple techniques to dome fine silver and how to keep your granules from rolling away during washing and placement on the silver domes.

You are very welcome! You can use a charcoal block but be sure to get the back sheet hot enough. :)

Thank you so much for your demonstrations. Love them all. Can you tell me if the Hide glue that you recommend for fusing the gold granules can be used with the fine silver ones ? or the Hide glue and the G glue are the same ? Thank you

You can use the hide glue or G Glue on both fine silver and gold granulation. The hide glue and the G Glue serve the same purpose. The G Glue is handy because it is premixed and holds granules on both flat and curved surfaces. :)

No, with argentium, you fuse on a charcoal block and you use dilute liquid flux as the glue. :)
