Do you have a design for the top hive feeder. How long is one of your classes and how would one sign up. Your videos are great but I think I would learn so much more in one of your classes.

Love You video, I'm a new beekeeper I started January with a swarm of bees that I caught but I am wondering how long it would take them to cap honey, I have nectar but is not capped yet, they look like they're strong and doing good the queen laying a good pattern I have Queen in a10 frame deep and I'm using a queen excluder the top honey box is it 10 frame deep also. Any advice it's been 4 months now am I being impatient or is something wrong? By the way I live in Florida if that help.

Don, I am now building my own baby nucs, 4 frame nucs, and 5 frame nucs. I notice that on many of your nucs you have a flat bottom and a small hole for the bees to come and go. I've always had bottom boards for the nucs. If I go with a flat bottom do I have to adjust the height of the box so the frames don't rest on the floor? Thanks for any advice.

Hey Don. Thank you for your video's , I like your abrupt no-nonsence approach! I hit the donate button by the way ! I hope to do as many splits as I can next year. I like your natural and easy approach. I can buy mini nucs which are about half the volume of a langstroth 5 frame nuc. My question is : Will it be quicker to use smaller hives? I am working on the assumption that the smaller volume will fill two mini nucs stacked together more quickly. Rob T

Is it possible to raise your own queens if you only have two hives?
