Finesse: Overview and Color Theory

When I bought my Qnique 15R in 2019 I bought several different colors of Finesse thread--some solids and some varigated. I was new to quilting and knew very little about tension at that time. I quilted with my Finesse thread on a couple of quilts but I had problems with thread breakage. I gave up and switched to a different polyester thread and have been using it ever since. As I was watching your presentation I was reminded that I still have those beginning 12-15 spools of Finesse thread, which I'm assuming is the 'original.' Since I've learned more about tension I would like to use my Finesse stash, but is it too old after almost 7 years? I use a TOWA gauge for my bobbin tension--can you tell me the number that Finesse thread works best with on the gauge? Sabrina, your little Tree Skirt is really cute. You did a great job with the new Finesse Classic thread demonstration. Your knowledge of the thread comes through in your discussion. Grace Company, the collapsable bottom of the spool is a nice touch.

I do not like using polyester thread. What do recommend in cotton thread?
