This is a very special video about one of the most famous singers in the world: Dua Lipa! She is widely admired for her natural beauty, as well as her talent as a singer and performer
As for her natural beauty traits, she had a subtle nose change early on in her career, and a more noticeable change in her eyes and possible brow lift later on.

I cringe at the idea that there is a rhinoplasty for people who don't need it. My dad is a doctor for 40 years and he always says that surgery should be the last resort, otherwise you'll have more complications. I can't believe people are so eager to get surgery for things so subtle that most people won't even notice. That being said, I'm glad Dua hasn't changed that much because she's naturally gorgeous.

My sister took me to a consultation with her and got me to also get a consult just to see what the doctor would say. He recommended some things but eventually said that if it was up to him (the doctor), he wouldn’t do anything. The change would be so subtle and unnecessary that he said it wouldn’t be worth getting a major surgery for it unless it’s something that I really, really wanted to do. I commend doctors like that. As opposed to doctors who recommend any kind of major surgery and feed on others’ insecurities.

Facts. After experiencing sinus surgery due to an expansive cyst, there's absolutely no way I would mess with my nose if I didn't absolutely need to. Far too many delicate structures like tubules that can be affected and never fully repaired or healed. This kind of damage can lead to people feeling like they're drowning every time they lay down. The other popular face surgery that makes me cringe hard is buccal fat removal. The delicate structures within the face should never be messed with unless there is a true defect. That buccal fat is there for a reason, to protect your teeth and facial nerves. And with the way the medical system tends to be, doctors most often won't concede that their work has lead to a painful condition. It's also very difficult to treat facial pain. Facial pain regularly leads to death because the person can't cope, and in our era of anti-opioid propaganda it can be literal hell for people who genuinely deserve that level of pain relief. It's just not a risk worth taking, but unfortunately healthy people have a hard time grasping what the outcome could be.

The small boobs are from weight loss. My boobs always grew and shrank with weight loss and gain, and there was no excess skin until after I had babies. When I was young and had no pregnancies, my boobs would just get small when I got really thin. Skin sagging or excess skin was not an issue.

Comparing to myself, I had a similar amount of weight loss, about 17 pounds, and my breasts used to be bigger and now they’re smaller, but they didn’t get saggy. I think for the size of breasts she had and their size now, it looks very much like mine used to and how they’re now.

Yes, she’s so young that her skin has elasticity and while her breasts were large before, they were not massive. I lost about 30 pounds at 20-24 and my breasts retained their perkiness more or less! Her current breasts also don’t have that characteristic “breast lift” shape with roundness, they seem a lot more natural and I would just say it was due to her overall weight loss. I actually love that she hasn’t gotten implants or fat transfer - it’s nice to see celebrities with a small chest that suits their small frame!!

What I love about what Dua has done look wise is that she owns and has kept her ethnicity. I think that’s something that makes her unique. Her breast reduction could definitely be from weight loss. When i was 115lbs, I was a 32D. At 100lbs, I was a 32C. Drastic difference from just a few pounds! And I’ve never had droopy skin lol. That only happens with older skin or more dramatic weight loss. As mid-20s slim women, both me and her can lose weight in the breast area without sagging! Just sharing my personal experience :)

Well, it is nice to see plastic and cosmetic procedures that didn't go too far. To me these things should be because we want little changes, with consideration for how those changes will change over time or effect other features, or to over haul after trauma, never forced or coherced. I hate that so many are told they have to have it to be successful.

You can definitely lose weight and not have any excess skin or sagging.I really doubt that she had chest reduction. Speaking from personal experience, I gradually lost 50 pounds (170->120) through healthy lifestyle and nothing needs lifted lol I did that in my early 30s so her skin likely had even better elasticity than mine.

Buccal fat is a particular placement of fat that doesn't really shrink. Over a hundred pounds? Then yes. It ten to twenty isn't going to be a drastic change. The rest of the face gets smaller around it. She didn't lose enough weight to have that drastic of a difference

I love when you talk about the subtle stuff! However, the finesse procedures make me curious: I recently was reading an article about how the type of lens, the angle and distance at which it was shot, and the programming in the digital camera can make the same person on the same day look totally different in different pictures. What are your methods for dealing with this kind of distortion when examining photos. Is this just a problem of amateur photos / selfies / Zoom, or is it something you need to take into account with celebrity photos as well?

Great question! I analyzed over a hundred photos for this analysis and it’s never just the sets I show. Truth be told; I don’t need before and afters just afters to see the surgery but I provide to you all the photo sets so you can “see” it for yourselves. Most photo sets have issues like ; different lighting, angles and lens distortions but I provide the best I can with what I find.

Thank you so much Lorry for another excellent video. I do wonder about breast lifts though, as someone who is considering getting the procedure done. The scarring is quite considerable and this usually makes people hesitate before getting the procedure - it's like with the thigh reduction, the starting point has to be pretty bad for the end result with the massive scar to be considered an improvement. Would someone like Dua with very little loose skin really accept the significant scarring?
