Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! Your tutorial was EXACTLY what I needed to see today...my two teenage daughters both decided to do the big chop, and I had been doing Sisterlocks on them for YEARS, which required almost nothing besides water as far as products are concerned...It was tough to see their locks go - one of them had her hair long past her shoulder blades. My daughters are both 4C, but I myself am not a curly girl, so none of us had a clue what to do with their newly short TWAs. The younger of the two just cut her locks off today, and unfortunately, when we went to the salon to have it evened out, they took way too much off, and she's not happy. But I followed your tutorial on her older sister's hair, and it worked wonderfully - will do the same on the younger sister tomorrow. Seeing your video made her feel a lot better - made her feel like she really can have super-cute styles even though her hair was cut more than we wanted :) Thank you for making my girls happier and more confident with their TWAs, which makes me a relieved and happy mama!

Something about you twisting up your hair was very sedative and very calming. Didn't even want you stop. An awesome video...no elaborate language, no pounding distracting music, no gimmicks...just you lovely self giving a real genuine worthwhile tutorial. Thanks

I am so inspired by your twa finger coils. I have super 4C hair like you. However, whenever I attempt the same look, I just get coils sitting on top of a bed of bushy frizz! No matter the products or technique, it just ends up looking like worms on top of frizz. Would you please advise me on how to get your perfect root-to-tip coils? I’m starting to loose hope a little bit... Thanks for any advice.

You can also use a bath sponge with the holes or a regular sponge and create the holes. I find that my hair curls faster with the sponge, as it seems it's too soft for the brush.

Truly a great video & gorgeous results. Wish I had seen it earlier. I've never seen that brush method, and I'm wondering if any other type of brush will work. My hair is a little longer than yours, but I am going to follow your process. I have never gotten definition in any style I've tried, but I've only been transitioning since the first of the year.

I cut my hair short for the first time ever in my life, and you are one of my inspirations. Your twa and coils inspired me to go for the cut, even though I have always been natural. So thank you for sharing. I have a question. My coils don't stay tight at the base...am I using the wrong coiling method, or the wrong gel (not enough hold?)
@GlamMzMore6 жыл бұрын
The tightness depends on your hair texture and twisting method. A looser texture may not hold coils as tight.
