Thanks for teaching. Luv that lick, vintage Eddy sound and wizardry.

Great song and one of the few VH tunes you can perform on an acoustic for your friends. It took me a long minute to work that lick and sing at the sametime, but it can be done and its cake once you get to the chorus. Instead of playing eddies part you can also play Sammys part which is straight stunned chords.

Agree. Van halen lacking in songs that can be played for mates. Can’t stop loving you is another good one.

Yessir.! great and FUN song to play. I personally CAN read tabs but its hard to remember the rhythm so a video for the solo section would be really appreciated. on behalf of those of us who learn by sight and ear more.

I love the fact that you play Squier. Looks and sound awesome. I own only one Mexican strat upgraded with bare knuckle SSS. But the rest of my 13 are Squier, epiphone, cort and part caster that I build myself, all of them upgraded and properly set up. That’s all you need and then played by someone like you. Excellent teaching. Very good job dude.

Exactly, I've strummed here and there now and then, but when I get calluses, something comes along and I stop again. I have been looking for the right motivation.. This is it , explained to the point and in the way that is absorbed . So cool, thanks so much, learned more than enough in 30 minutes..

Eddie played it with his fingers. Your version of the bridge is so wrong. He plays it with full chords that are muted, all bass notes are there. It's done with barr chords.
@Brian-Martin3 жыл бұрын
There are bass notes in the main lick that Eddie played. The magic of this song is the tempo.
